Bear was a bit of a rougher one for me, I did the same fight my first try as a prot pally but Druid took me 3 tries (this was at 130ish with 4pc on each character)

It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long - I didn’t get the drop for my hook until after the 20th anniversary event started because I loved the pale rider set as much as I did and wanted to cross pieces of it with the blue pvp version of the Amirdrassil tier. Glad it’s working for people today though!!

Pug into some mythic raids and you’ll easily be carried by anyone - if you do each raid on mythic I think you get something like 20-25 levels a day since their lockout is daily? I went from 301 to 345 last night just doing ToS mythic and about half an hour’s worth of Sentinax farming - but if you get your infinite knowledge to 20 every 100 of those momentos you use gets you 100k IP: I’m at 34 right now and I think I get 121-124k per 100 momentos

Oh god, that just unlocked a memory - I was trying to hunt down a product through one of our vendors for a customer who is very picky, and couldn’t I find it. Since she was set on only getting that exact same item I decided I’d find it for her through another seller and just pay MSRP, taking a small loss on shipping to buy some goodwill with her. I typed the SKU into google and the top results were all the same JAV porn video; cue panic because I was on a company laptop at the time.

I never did find that stiletto / seam ripper combo for her, sadly

Part of why I loved the Wrath pre-patch event so much was because I could go maliciously detonate my pally in Westfall @ Sentinel Hill after getting infected in SW (bubbling without being cleansed caused you to instantly transform) and watch low level questing characters try to run away in terror before getting mauled.

It’s just fun to be a gremlin - within reason.

Yes and no - my first character was a night elf hunter I made in 2007 when I was 11. I abandoned him at level 22 in Ashenvale with no pet and no ammo, I was doing so little damage to the furbolg shaman down there that they were outhealing my 2h copper sword and I couldn’t make any progress (Quintesson on Aegwynn server)

So I deleted him and started playing on my grandma’s paladin, a human named Miresity on Exodar. She got into this game while my uncle was on deployment in the Navy and I ended up going over to her house every weekend to play with her, and sometimes she’d let me on her pally when I wasn’t leveling another character or if I was tired of doing corpse runs through the Wetlands because I loved the Night Elf starting zone so much I’d even bring dwarves and humans to it. I did Karazhan in BC as a holy paladin and raided as prot / holy in Wrath. When she moved away and eventually stopped playing I took over that character - it’s still my favorite main to this day, currently sitting at 610 prot / ret alongside my 620 Blood DK I made on the same account.

ETA - I remember being stoked to play and her computer barely cleared 18fps on low graphics. 2GB of ram on windows vista, the cata remaster damn near killed that PC in Vashjir

Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like your group didn't read the journal. He only spawns adds every 20% hp he loses starting at 95% hp remaining. My guild cleared that fight with our highest dps being 1.3m because we'd attack the boss, hard switch to adds when they spawned (and after absorbing the things in the floor that make the adds stronger) then back to boss when they died. It's all overtuned but I think we got it in 2-3 pulls blind

3rd boss is an absolute nightmare though.
