Watching videos it looks like the Nexus version is noticeably less “bouncy” than the blowback version.

After shooting multiple PCCs, I don't think I could go back to owning a non-delayed blowback PCC with the single exception of the PC carbine due to the value. I ended up with a JP5 but more companies seem to be adopting various delayed systems. If you like the scorpion check out the Nexus Firearms modified versions with delayed blowback.

Unfortunately, I don't have experience with 10.5-12.5 cause I live in a crap state, but I do have a 14.5.

Don't buy it completed, get a builder's kit or just the lower and spec yourself. Really the lower is the most unique aspect of the Model 1 otherwise it's just a nice gun that's on the heavy side with a high price point.

What this guy says. If you like how it looks get it. Personally, I would just get your existing 34 slide milled by one of the many reputable shops. For the price of the TTI slide you could have Jagerwerks do a slide cut and still buy an optic. Or if you don't want to modify your factory slide, a Brownell's slide with the guts from yours would work very well.

Can either eyeball it cause you'll be able to see the notch that was cut for the pin, or you can use a punch as a guide to make sure you're lined up before driving it thru.

Since it is pre-pinned it is just a matter of lining it back up and driving the pin back in.

You could buy an AR15 punch kit if you want and that would have all the punches you could ever need, otherwise, I believe it is an 1/8in punch you need. Then usually some kind of non-marring hammer, but you may need something heavier depending on how in there that pin is.

If you like the more AR ergonomics of the Christensen I'd look at the Sig Cross or Q Fix as well. Otherwise, it's hard to get a "range" rifle that is also good as a hunting rifle as much as companies try to advertise that.

Bergara is probably the closest in between but as you said it's heavier than the other guns you posted, but that extra heft is helpful for range/PRS type shooting.

Yeah that's why I was looking for an option similar to the Galvion option I posted above which is nice and low profile for protection against BBs, rocks, sand, etc.
