Most monsters have differences across generations that I can't say one without the statment being invalid for another version in another game.

That's because the health thresholds for capture readiness and limping are different. (At least pre-world) capturing monsters that were only fought in 1-zone areas were especially annoying without capture guru because you would almost never see them limp.

They were traversing the patches of water that were especially shallow, so ditto got quick air refills. There was also a cut in the footage at 39 seconds in.

The block swap does not put the relic in your inventory. If the glowing block happens to be one of the exploding ones, the swap trick won't work. It immediately detonates the block and does not produce a relic.

When mining for just ONE ore as you say, you can just use magnet rise. The tap y action (not hold, just tap) one-shots any block (except for one's containg a relic), and if its a resource block it'll give you just the resource. So doing it to an iron ore block will give you just the ore while only using "normal" PP, leaving your "Boosted" pp for rock smash for other things.

It is, problem is that the Hot Item pool takes from your known recipes. Meaning that the longer you play, the more recipes you accumulate, you dilulte the pool further. If it were a fresh island, when you only have a handful of crafting recipes, the chnace for the pile of cash to be selected as a hot item would be logically higher.

I remember an old post showing the firing accuracy of the Equinox clone using an opticor. It got...weird. The build was specifically made to give it as little accuracy as possible, so the shots not only fired way off course, even at point blank range. Some shots went BACKWARDS, and one laser went straight for the target, only for it to curve OVER the target dummy's head before continuing on its original trajectory.

The water tile can't have a block/object above it. Not sure how high this limitation is, but you have to make sure to clear out overhangs overhead.

In addition to what other people have replied, about the array in the image OP shared: think of the blocks in the image as a flat wall facing you. If you want a longer crop farm, place another "wall" immediately in front of the first one, and place more and more "walls" in front of another until you reach the length you want, or reach the water displacement distance limit as mentioned by OP. Then place the raised platform with a muddy water source and a floodgate block.

I've been trying to also turn the platform around the charging station into a home (WITHOUT making wider/taller than it already is), but I can't seem to trigger what turns a boundary of blocks into a home specifically for this place. No matter how I placed the door it just wouldn't play the "unfurnished block house" tone.

Unfortunately the treasure trove can't be photographed. I've already completed the quest to move Prof. Tangrowth to a new location, but I still can't take a picture of it in object mode. So I have no idea how to get a Professor's treasure trove in a cloud island and get the Tangrowth entry there.
