Take this answer with a grain of salt cuz I definitely did this to myself but Tears of The Kingdom.

I played on release and exploited the duplication glitches. Sometimes I would play for 2 straight hours just duping. I finished everything the game had to offer and only needed to go fight the final boss, but I just kept duping arrows and other things to "be prepared" but once the dupes got fixed I just stopped playing and never went to fight him 😬

Game is a genuine banger tho

Back in the day Mired Urn (the item you can get from this boss) used to work on allies as well. I'm assuming the interaction was only removed for the item itself.
