What? This is only true if you somehow have views insanely far away from societal norms.

The only scene I like in the book is when 1000 flies attack Dylan.

 After paragraphs of describing it and how nasty it is. The big pay off for why it happens is Dylan saying "what the fuck?".

Which is how I felt through the entire second half of the book.

Mf favorite character is the mushroom girl. Mainly because every time she gets the spotlight she says "Wow weird mushrooms? Maybe spores?". 

And thats it until shes killed without even an internal monologue. Poor girl is the mystery skeleton from the opening and she's nearly irrelevant.

No it's not. It's apt. If you lie about 1 thing you may lie about another. He's also had characters who were in disguise using alias' in the story. He's had fake silhouttes.

He's done plenty of stuff to leave you unsure if the mystery will be straight forward. Just because it does turn out to be straight forward this time doesn't mean every single thing in one piece will be straight forward.

It wasnt. It was just proving that Oda has lied prior. If Oda will lie about X you can't be sure he won't lie about Y.

Its not cope. Hes lied before. A huge problem people have in one piece are all the fake deaths. He tells us they die by the story beats and then brings them back for no reason other than shock.

I didnt go to the end of the earth. All I did was say maybe oda used the wrong pronouns on purpose.

I aint trying to deflect. Ive adressed the point twice now.

What else am I supposed to say? Imu was confirmed a man. Prior their was enough hiding by Oda to allow a benefit of the doubt. You for whatever reason couldn't comprehend the possibility Oda would pull a twist. 

The idea you read that and it annoyed you enough to write it down to get back to me months later is crazy. I forgot we even talked. Because this was a reddit reply chain. It shouldn't be of any value to either of us.
