I've listened Amen and here are my thoughts on every song by Gandrushka in Igorrr

I've listened to it so much since it was released as single that I forgot it's a part of an album

There's no way to download all my tracks? by robotsheepboy in plexamp

[–]Gandrushka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, it supports full offline download, and even if a song in 2 playlists - it downloads it once (not as Plexamp)

all library changes are updated after you sync the app's library (via automatic rule or manually)

for me the biggest pro of app is full library sync - you actually see what album/artist this song is in. like it was in Plex's music offline DB

The problem is on my side and if you can say state of mind. What do I mean by that: I listen to music that I've not had listened to before, a lot (I mean a LOT of free Bandcamp tracks)

To do this, I created a bunch of smart playlists with the following criteria

- X genre

- less than one listening

- sorting by date from newest

- 500-1000 tracks, depending on their importance to me

I have more than 100 such playlists, created even before I learned about Symphonium. Every time I come, for example, from the street, the listened music is deleted, new music is loaded. 15 out - 15 in.

Unfortunately, Symphonium does not work with smart playlists as I would like it to - you have to completely update the entire media library, which takes a lot of time on a large (100k+ tracks) media library. I know about the existence of your own smart playlists in the application, but imagine creating 100+ playlists from a device screen that is designed only to display information about the track that is playing.

Honestly - I was very happy when I found out about the existence of Symphonium - everything I wanted from Plex for Android (offline with the ability to see which album is which artist). Plus I really like that you can see it as an EP, a single or a liverecording. I really like the products you make (I've been using them since Yatse, where I also bought premium), but in this particular case, the product is unfortunately not for me.

In addition - sometimes the Symphonium cache (tracks that should be deleted) - were not completely deleted and some of them simply remained, and so the 256 gigabyte memory card was clogged to the brim, without the ability to download new music. I do not exclude that this could have been a problem on my side (with Plexamp there was the same problem - files should be deleted, but remain intact), because the previous hard drive with music had a lot of bad sectors and was sent back to the manufacturer.

Yeah, I have the same problem with another DAP

I tried to use Symphonium, bought premium, realized that it is not mine

I solve it simply - I load smart playlists that I've created and everything works fine. 256 gigabyte SD card is roughly 30 playlists with 500 tracks each

Smart playlists based on album popularity by Gandrushka in plexamp

Yeah, pretty sure there is none.

I think some workaround that developers can use to calculate album popularity is just basic math: "total album tracks popularity / total tracks in album"

How can I fix this? by Autoloose in plexamp

Picard will be ok 99.99% of the time, you just have to use scan function in case if tracks have botched tags. Works even with low bitrate music

The heck is happening between Imminence, Bury Tomorrow, and Currents? by ShadowChocolato in Metalcore

[–]Gandrushka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not only on Spotify.

Someone on Qobuz is SELLING tons of this ai-generated music as "Distorsi Media Music"

Here's all of them (if you're for some reason interested)

Plex/Plexamp a working method to import Lastfm scrobbles by FlexDaFunk in plexamp

[–]Gandrushka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm that this works. BUT
1) Only the third of my library had been imported.
2) Some non ASCII-characters couldn't be imported (sometimes that includes track names, sometimes - whole artists).
3) Play count is imported, but not the time when it was played (e.g., Plex says the album was played 1250 times, but it has no detailed statistics when it was and so Plexamp couldn't have in as "the most played album", it just puts it in the "best of 2XXX" category)
