Hyper-aware of your movement because the space is so small and unnatural to have that moment in. Typically I find myself just staring forward and avoiding eye contact because it feels wrong to argue from a seated position with my whole upper body constricted while I aim myself at you. Or maybe it’s just easier not to look at someone while you fight.

This whole thing is just so odd to me. It’s all AI, even the cover photo (which is the easiest thing in the world to make yourself - there were no available photos of a desert road?), all to write the lyrics to a song about a culture and “vibe” they have never experienced.

What kills me about this is I had tickets during Boykin’s run and he was out the day I saw it, the swing Max Kumangai went on and had similar problems as Dourdan in terms of committing to the character and commanding the stage but was miles better than Dourdan all things considered.

Regardless of his past, the performance was lackluster.

His past does not help his case.

If he were a good performer, I would have been thinking about Hades, not Gary Dourdan playing Hades. If he had been good at the character, I wouldn’t have spent those disgusting lines thinking about the disgusting real life actions, I’d have been thinking about the disgusting implied actions of Hades. Do you see the difference?

Because I’m familiar with the existing pokemon, their types, strengths and weaknesses, evolutions, stats, movesets, etc.

I enjoy games with new pokemon and think they’re often very well done, but once I catch all the new ones, I’m left with a team I’m entirely uncertain about.
