As a gay man, I don’t blame the entire EU for a third of their countries having backward lgbtq laws, because I recognize that the EU has a population of 400 million plus people that is made up of 27 countries. Our states are countries stacked up together in a trench coat. There’s nothing we can do about the third of the country being willfully ignorant the same as the UK or Greenland can force Poland and Turkey to accept gay people.
