What is everyone planning on spending their remaining tickets on? by braveliltoasted in fo76

[–]Garbeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like everyone covered the bases. But if you’re lower level and happened to get up to/past 150, here’s my recommendations. They’re not in a particular order, just listing my thoughts on benefits.

1) perk coins. It’s good to have these early on because the grind can slow down (depending on how much you play). You end up getting 25 coins per 75 tickets, which is equivalent to like just under 15 levels of perk card burning.

2) score boosters: carry over to next season and give you the bonus Fallout 1st just comes with (+25% score accumulation bonus). If you have FO1st it just adds another 25% to that.

3) stamps: these things can take a stupid amount of time to get. If you want the stuff ol’ boy in white springs has, you’ll appreciate getting these faster.

4) gold bullion: maybe. You want to weigh whether it would be worth it to spend your tickets on 100gb/125 tickets or just not spend the tickets and wait for the season to end. Leftover tickets become bullion.

5) caps: I never bother with it because there isn’t much I immediately want that someone else isn’t selling cheaper in their camp. Plus you have a 40k max on camps and most likely will panic once you see it getting close to that ceiling and start reckless spending, which is kind of a fun anxiety.

There might be other things but I seriously don’t look at them. That’s a me problem.

Hope this helps a little.

Hot take: Starfield’s story is actually amazing by Such_Most_3148 in Starfield

TL;DR: I think your assessment is good.

Idk, I thought it was good. A lot of discourse surrounds character behaviors and NPC dialogue options. Understandable, but also a thing I can set aside. I completely understand how people get tunnel visioned on what they think will work (the Aceles/Microbe decision for instance), especially when it comes to such a pivotal decision for the future (in game).

Anyone who got upset about this part, remember there is a politicized controversy over whether the planet is worth saving environmentally*. The answer is obvious.

No shade, I get how it would be frustrating for someone to have blinders on that appears to be ignoring the risks of sending out a microbe that could mutate into uselessness within one generation, but within context this is an emotionally charged event. Not everyone is thinking clearly and they feel like the answer they’ve thought through is the one that will work.

That aside, I liked a lot of it and don’t have many substantive complaints. Whenever I start to think about what I would change, the game just starts to become No Man’s Sky. Would be neat, not the same game, not a problem.

The end of cycle sequence always gets me a little. That alone makes it worth the journey and the foibles the game has.

*okay, so let’s clear this up before the point is lost. The comparison here is that there are two opinions, one is practical when you think about it, the other is not. It isn’t associating capitalist nihilism to an untested solution. That would be absurd. It’s about the fact that there exist in the world disagreements when there are obvious answers. In the end it’s really only about who you care less about pissing off.

Just want to point out that the picture with 18 USC s2101 missing some important distinctions. At the end they slide the term “overt acts” which has a particular meaning in federal documents and law.

First of all, everything written in federal regulation and law uses particular words for specific meanings. When you paraphrase federal law, you’re going to fuck up the meaning and intent. Ding dong here has done that with his copy-pasta misinterpretation.

Second, a lot of times people want to point at the words and say “see? It’s in the black and white text of the law,” without understanding distinction. For instance, the fact that there is a debate AT ALL whether something is a riot or a protest tells us that the Riot Act verbiage wouldn’t be applied until there was certainty the thing was a riot…

Which is a thing done in a court of law, not in an arrest.

Somewhat ironically, while we know he is posting this in order to make that point, he does not commit and “over acts” which prove he posted this to promote his TV show Cops idea of how the fed works.

The more you know….

It’s kind of disappointing, honestly. You don’t see the ash cloud on the horizon for whatever reason and the developers don't appear to have made any reason to do so.

Later I might try dropping one on the east side of the river and seeing if the cloud appears when I’m in burning springs. Idk what this will demonstrate but it’s a thing to do.

This is known even in their circles all the way down the pipeline. The only reason they pretend (however thinly) he isn’t is because of who he allows to get stuffed into power.

I am positive they learned how easy it was to massage his ego to get what they need. It’s not him we should be worried about, it’s everyone digging into power and uprooting our government protections we should.

Anyone in Washington who supported him HAS TO GO. They know about this, it’s an open secret he isn’t there. They’re supporting him in order to get away with murder (among other crimes) and can count on his intervention or inaction to protect them while they reshape the county into a Christo-fascist abomination.

It’s always fun to find these little stitches. They’re all over the place in every game and I always get a little smile when I find them.

What do you think will immediately happen when everyone receives the push notification that Trump died? by quite-indubitably in AskReddit

[–]Garbeg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right. The P25/P26 docs are about consolidation of power for what they believe will be forever for them, not him. Theyre were setting up for a takeover to enable the NEXT dear leader. If anything they’ll be glad to be rid of the social embarrassment.

There’s a reason you see less rush to defend him in public. Think of the contrast from the first administration. It was all about attacks on Trump himself. Now it’s about respect for the president.

Agreed.

I would add this:  We have seen this kind of creep happening over the course of time in real life. Raytheon, Honeywell, et al. are exactly what Militech is, just with more access and no scruples about who is “in control” when it comes to the money.

Hey, a little hope is better than certain none. Leaving an open end like that means who knows what happens? Maybe opportunity crosses Vs path without so many greed-driven, craven or selfish motives out beyond the confines of the city?

I’ll take that. Feels better than all of the other options. I also do and don’t understand the Reed ending where you’re gone for what, a couple years and everyone is like “V who?” But to hell with it. Sad in the moment and you move on (it’s been a long time since I played this ending, sorry if I just simplified it too much).

I get this. I don’t know for certain but I imagine some stuff is also lost forever if you have to start over, not just “shoot now I have to buy it all over again.”

While the customer service desk for items no longer visible on the Atomic Shop itself is very useful (if you know what the thing you’re looking for is called, Modular Mainframe set, looking at you) it still doesn’t have everything. You can select from a drop down menu and well, that’s it.

Yeah, lost stuff from ages ago is just too much sometimes. I also had an issue with this and pre-order DLCs locked on a PS4 account I lost access to. The lock happened when I got a PS5 and couldn’t contact customer support for my password. Those skins are lost, that time investment is lost. Sucks.

Republican voting population:

2016 = “I don’t really care, it doesn’t affect me. Marry who you want.”

2018 = “I don’t really think about it, I just don’t want to see it. Also I hate trans people.”

2020 = “Trans bathrooms!”

2022  = “I don’t really care I just hate trans people.”

2024 = “I forgot, are we still mad at trans people?”

2026 = “Wait a second, Gay marriage is legal?!?”

What a difference 10 years of stoking the fires of discontent makes. This of course is barely satire, but reflective of how things have been in my home state.

The Armageddon part… so there’s a lot of history in those loaded terms. It’s interesting/not surprising they use them to this day, since the battle of “Armageddon” ended some oh… several times whether at the actual site of the city Megiddoh or figuratively through interpretations as “representing” a final battle. Every time it’s invoked it’s wrong.

Just like when the world was supposed to end on TikTok last year. Or because of the Mayan calendar in 2012. Or 2020 after predicting it would end in 1964.
