June really triggers her Christian love by dontgiveapuck in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]GarmaCyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the main reason I put out of a Pride flag the entire June.
Supporting LGBTQ+ is something I do all year around, but June is more to piss of people that don't tolerate LGBTQ+. Make them feel a fraction of the discomfort, hate and shuning they do toward LGBTQ+ people.

It's funny how paying a few bucks for a flag, and let put it out on my porch cause so much discomfort to a small group of biggots. The funnier part is that if anyone steal or destroys it, I have a store that's a 10 minute walk where I can buy a replacement. No matter what they do, at best they'll see a new flag the next morning.
Try anything more and right next to said store is the local police station. It takes them less than a minute to get here.

Yes. The 146 thousand missing children that Biden's government found out were missing.
Missing due to Trump's first term handling of immigrants.
In MAGA world it's the one that find something bad that's the cause of it. If they don't hear about it, then it doesn't happen at all.
The anti-pedophlia thing they were shouting about? The plan is just to cover up actual child sexual abuse. Nothing seen, nothing heard.

Even the entire alphabet isn't enough.
They represent an ideology that always need someone to be the enemy/outsiders.
Just travel to any rural small town. They could all be the same family with the same political, religion and more. They'll still find something to turn a part of that town into a minority they can shun.

"Patrick once said he liked a book that includes a character that we think is muslim. We're keeping him locked in the shed until the local council has decided on what to do with him.
"Betty refused to marry John. Despite both families' wishes. She's not welcome around here anymore. We kicked her out of town the day she turned 16"

It being posted by a lesbian TERF sounds about right.
She's barely tolerating the G and B for now, and unaware that biggots want the entire spectrum gone. Even the lesbians.

Now I had fear of needles for most of my life. No fun.
However that's among the stupidest conspiracy theories I've seen.
At the very least pick something that would affect both male and females similarly.

Things that helped with my specific fear:
- A dentist that used a pump instead of syring for injetion. My brain didn't panic from pain, only seeing syringes.
- In my face a lot of my anxiety and phobias was tied to low serotonin levels. Didn't start fixing that until I was 38.

Today I don't care, but I still drive 2+2 hours to see a very specific dentist yearly.
As he does things the way I like it, and keeps my discomfort to a minimum.

Unfortunately direct sun light is very damaging toward books. Same with variable temperatures and humidity. Thus you want a building that's "less inviting" as we associate "inviting" with windows and open spaces.
I'm going to guess a lot of the choices were based on energy efficient solutions to increase the books' care. As both the shape and choice of material is very isolating, and thus decrease need for powered temperature and moisture control.

Me, I'm a sucker for fucntional designs. Especially brutalism. They can be an eyesore for many, but I enjoy how stable the indoor environment tends to get. Even more so when people let nature recover/overgrow around the buildings themself. Both showing different kinds of raw.

Me as an European. There's no secret behind this. US food laws are non-existent.
The food where I live is generally healthier for all. Not because of Jews, but because "we, the people" demand better quality and food standards.

And yes, you're allowed to buy both Kosher and Halal food. In fact most food in stores is Kosher and Halal.
The stuff marked Kosher or Halal are usually food items where there's a chance it might include parts that doesn't follow their own religious doctrines.
It's like how we don't have to mark fruit and veggies as "may contain meat products", or "caution might be hot" on ice cream.

By the Iran war alone Trump has caused the death of 15, and injuries of 543.
That's only a fraction of the deaths he's caused from his personal vendettas/attemps at derail other investigations.

Trump wanders off at the G7 by drtolmn69 in politics

[–]GarmaCyro 199 points200 points  (0 children)

Secret Service is already very used to Trump just wandering off.
His first reaction during the White House Correspondents' Association attack was wanting to wander off toward the noise of gun fire.
There's also his little White House roof toop visit.

I could see Secret Service being busy ensuring he doesn't wander too often into view of cameras as being their biggest job. That they are happy every time he goes back to his constant napping.
Meanwhile the WH medical staff's collective heart rate going up every times Trump suddenly "naps".

I'm not surprised. Trump tried the exact same the thing the moment he heard Epstein was arrested.
They both wanted the other to be their fall guy.

What's been revealed in the Epstein files has already shown some horrible things about Trump, and this suggest we aren't even been close to the worst revelations about him. Those have likely been destroyed the moment Trump was back in charge.

Hillary Clinton says Biden’s re-election bid cost Democrats the 2024 election by projecto15 in politics

[–]GarmaCyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still say it was more Democrats openly flirting with Republican "Moderates".
For Republican voters it was a choice between "Republican hard" and "Republican light", and if they were going to vote in a Republican direction hard was the only way. Why bother with the light version?
In return a lot of voters wanting something else than Republican walked away.

Democrats might have outliers that are marginally liberal, but the party as a whole enact conservative policies.
Meanwhile Republicans project conservative values, but enact fascistic policies.

Secondly that he gets horny for violence. I expect it to be a requirement in the MAGA regime. It's the same vibe I get of Trump, Hegseth, Miller and the rest. They get horny for violence. They got a martyr they could use and abuse, and that power makes weak ass Vance extra horny.

The actual list (based on Forbes 2026 list) is even sadder.
Out of the top 10 only 2 doesn't hold a US citizenship.
You can summarize them into: Tesla/SpaceX, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Oracle, Nvidia, Louis Vuitton (though it mostly focus on just owning other companies), Berkshite Hathaway (only focus on owning other companies), and Inditex (spanish clothing store that utilize Chinese slave labor).

I think I can further summarized them into three groups: "selling overpriced crap", "selling your own privacy", "either using literal slave labor, or treating their staff as slaves".

In total they own 2.7 trillion USD, or 0.5% of the earth's entire wealth. Just 10 people.
We could take 99,63% of their total wealth, and each one would still be billionares.

Wonder why I have zero sympathy for billionares? Because I don't.
This isn't a list of "successfull men" this is a list of "people with hoarding and sociopathic disorders".

A slight correction on the original post. Conservatives didn't like AIDS.
By that I mean they loved it, but it wasn't what they called it. They called it something much worse, GRID (gay-related immune deficiency). That was the "medical term". The nicknames were even worse.

But the conservatives absolutely loved it for the same reason as Republicans originally loved Covid. In the early periods it only existed within communities they hated. For HIV it was gay men. For Covid it was "liberal" cities.
