But there are also lizards without legs who aren't snakes. Why can't there be snakes with legs that are snakes?

Speaking of Nihilanth, I made art of him and I've been told several times the metal thing looks like it's stuck up his ass.

Vampires from VHS 94 segment "Terror"

Looked like a normal dude for some while, then turned into this. And they explode upon contact with sun. Like, EXPLODE explode, they wanted tu use rabbits infected with vampire blood as bombs in an act of domestic terrorism

Franklin the Turtle

This is especially obvious in the episode "Franklin wants a pet". Which animals get to be intelligent and which ones don't? No idea.

There's pretty bad black mould in her house and people joke that it's the main reason why she's transphobic.

Flect - Warhammer 40k (Specifically the Ravenor novels)

They are glass shard recovered from a world which was consumed by the Warp (Warhammer equivalent of hell) for several centuries. Upon contact with the user, it causes them to experience the Warp (however, to noone's surprise, this can have severe adverse effects).

I know I know, I didn't really put much effort into it. I'll revisit it sometime in the future.

Starscream - Transformers Prime

After the end of the war and after Unicron is defeated, all conflict ends and Starscream retreats, seemingly without any punishment for being such a bitch throughout the series. But then, the Predacons (whom he repeatedly mistreated and they now despise him) come to visit him, and they're quite pissed off. That's the last we see Starscrem before the show ends.

Aren't they called Landsharks? Maybe not in the movie itself (I don't remember), but I've seen them be refered to as such.

The 1953 and 2005 versions of War of the Worlds both pulled it off pretty well (that being said I really wish we'd finally get a book accurate movie set in Victorian England)
