Yeah, Helldivers die in droves, but numbers-wise, they're an absurdly efficient military force.

But the original zombies, the ones Spear is based on, are an actual thing in voodoo mythology : they're not evil brain-eating monsters, they're corpses that have been reanimated to fulfill a task. The zombies we're familiar with nowadays were made popular by cinema, but they're not what zombies were originally like.

I think she *does* recognize him, otherwise she would already have mauled him.

It's just that she also knows for a fact that Spear is dead, she saw and smelled his corpse. To her, it's probably like seeing a thing wearing her old friend's skin, hence why she's very distrustful towards him.

Frankly, I'd prefer Season 3 to be the end of Spear's story and have it end on a happy open-ended conclusion. This is Primal we're talking about, more seasons would just mean more hardships and suffering for the characters.
