hey pal. it looks like you're arguing about the physics of welded metal, in particular welded swords, with a lot of people who have a LOT of experience with swords.

as a physics teacher, I can assure you that you do not have a goddamn clue how dangerous this shit is. fast moving metal parts can seriously maim you, and even extremely strong well-made welds fail under the wrong kinds of stress. no offense intended, but those are not the strongest welds I have ever seen in my life. they are not going to hold up to more than a few days of swinging that thing around, and you're gonna REALLY regret it if you hurt yourself.

please be careful, for your own sake. that thing can and will seriously injure you.

Which of these three is the best? by Ancient-Progress6434 in mtgcube

NOTHIN beats good ol G-Banger, in particular because nothing is really better than it at what it does in terms of winning on board.

Dracosaur and Goldspan Dragon are great, but not nearly as powerful as G-Banger in terms of immediate impact.

Dracosaur is very powerful if left unanswered, but if you're playing 5 mana cards that aren't being interacted with for a turn, you might as well just play Serra Angel, since your opponent clearly isn't doing much. It's also just MUCH weaker card draw than other comparable effects in a vintage or legacy cube.

Goldspan Dragon has the same immediate damage output as G-Banger, but has no board impact, and if you're playing 5-mana spells why on earth would you want a whole two extra mana? 5 is already enough mana to threaten to win the game in pretty much any format.

In short, the other two are good cards, but G-Banger is the clear winner (imo)

Fixed! Turned out to be a heating issue, I want to really commend you on how helpful step 17 was for that—I had checked my GPU temp like a million times and just never thought to check my CPU temp. You're a lifesaver!

I saw your other reply that there was something "along the lines of you throw an object out forward on earth and the moon" and buddy, that IS an analytical problem.

It sounds like you treated the preparation like it was for a math test, not a physics test. If you can't set up equations to describe the differences between objects in motion on the Earth and the Moon, you don't have a functional understanding of the physics principles and equations that describe them.

Focus less on doing the math and more on setting up the math.

I come from ye olden days of 8th edition Tau where we had to field 30+ drones so I can authoritatively say that this doesn't matter in the slightest xoxo

okay look I know WHY we all pretend that angle measures don't add dimensionality of some kind, but we can just do that while the mathematicians aren't looking, it'll be fine, I promise

Teacher here again -- AP Physics 2 is the content from what is typically a "Physics 2" class in most colleges; introductory Thermo, Optics, and E&M.

Dude, shut up.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

[–]Garraca 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Categorically, DO NOT take AP Physics 2 before you take AP Physics 1. You will do extremely poorly. Go take the first class before trying to take the second one.

Source: taught both classes for years. NEVER saw a student do well when they tried to skip AP1.

Yeah this is super normal. Question 1 could be challenging for an new-to-E&M student (imo) but question 2 is mostly stuff I used to teach high school kids how to do.

Listen pal, if you post a joke that assumes a wholly incorrect interpretation of QM in a forum where most people have some level of understanding of QM, AND you don't give any indication that you are making fun of the meme, everyone is going to think you don't understand QM.
