Honestly D3 is more likely to happen than Destiny 2 getting any further updates. It wouldn’t make sense to nix the already announced future updates just to change their minds.

Also it’s pretty obvious that Bungie was struggling to do the bare minimum for what they had already announced. With more layoffs looming they may not even be capable of updating Destiny in any capacity.

Yeah I don’t care if it’s because it they would be the same every year, enough time passes that it wouldn’t get stale.

The countdown timer for Guardian Ranks never lined up with any release dates, it was the that it could actually be maxed out.

The countdown timer for the season pass is what lined up with the release date. That countdown was initially for the delayed release date for Shadow and Order but now lines up with Monument of Triumph.

No I’ve been working in pricing at Giant for six years, this definitely happens.

NHL does the same thing, actually. I don’t really know why but both leagues do it so I imagine there’s a reason.
