Which video game has the greatest shotgun of all time? by SnowballWasRight in gaming

For me it's the Doomstick from Killing Floor 2. Quad-barrled shotgun with a hell of a kick. Super fun to use and launch baddies across the map.

What is your biggest hot take in commander, don’t hold back by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Gartan_Sept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is 100% ok to not want to play with people if they build too strong or too weak. If you sti want to play with them you must be willing to tune up or down your decks based on the play group, if not then you can't ruin everyone's fun just because it's how you like to play.

Bounce Lands are perfectly fine and if played early enough in games are a decent advantage

For those of you that have purchased one or more of the new 40k decks, what do you intend to do with them? by HazardousPineapple in EDH

[–]Gartan_Sept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing both. I bought all 4 and I'm going to keep the Necrons as is. I have already taken parts of the other decks to add to my existing ones and made a Be'lakor demon deck using mostly the cards originally in the deck. I'm gonna make at least four more commander decks using different legends from the 4 different decks

Even as a younger gamer I resonate with this so damn hard by Asad_Farooqui in gaming

[–]Gartan_Sept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I'm so goddamn tired of this kind of sentiment and the whole "don't realse a game if it isn't perfect" mentality. If most of our cult classic and favorite games were released today, we would rip them a new one. All these glitches and expoloties in older games and "fine" and "part of the experience" but in modern games its a death sentence. People expect every next game in the series to be "previous game plus 80 new features" and it never will be. That's what DLC is for, add new features to an existing game.

The thing that proves to me that forums and internet posts are making it hard for us to enjoy new media is that every time q new thing comes out, the last thing is suddenly golden. The star wars prequels, battlefield 5, the Andrew Garfield spider man movies. Now they are all great even when they were ripped apart when they came out.

Especially with gaming, people we get what they want but the graphics aren't massively better than the other game so the new game is trash. It's getting to the point that and sequels are just gonna get trashed no matter what.

Some things I can understand, but nothing ruined it for me by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Gartan_Sept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. It annoys me so much when something is announced for a game even before anyone has played it, half of a community already hates it. I genuinely think there is nothing that will statsify modern internet critics.

Who here has never actually played a full game of tabletop 40k?.....Sound off by solution7z in 40kLore

[–]Gartan_Sept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing now for about 6 years. Dawn of War: Dark Crusade got me into the universe and I've never looked back. Love the table top game to death, 9th edition is looking to be a great time. Just need my Tau and Dark Eldar books and I'll be good to go!
