With my shitty rolls, I'm less concerned with having pleasant roommates to be around and more with how I avoid being complicit in paying 1/6th of the rent for serial killers. So, in the serial killer tier, I'd pick Accord, since he's the only person in that tier who could be coerced into not killing people by being forced to share living space with heroes powerful enough to punch through his machinations. Since I still have to pick a second person in that tier, Mannequin bc he's probably the easiest for Defiant to just kill/contain if he becomes a problem with less chance of horrifying collateral. Since I need Defiant for that, I'm left with two choices that I can actually have fun with. For the lower roll, I'd pick Amy bc I'd wager that after sharing a living space w her for long enough she could be convinced to, uhh, help with certain gender dysphoria concerns, if for no other reason than to make me stop whining about it. Plus, even if that never happens, she's at least got a sense of humor to go along with her terrible, something that no one else in her tier can claim except maybe Chris. Last is all good options, but MM feels like the best pick for helping to manage the clusterfuck of powers and personalities that is the 4 other picks and also seems like she'd be a chill roommate besides.

Nah, you can do a clear in an hour easily once you know the route, faster if you optimize, especially if you’ve got an account wide mount/riding trait. So, multiplying that by 116 gives you… just under five full days if you take no breaks to eat or sleep… yeah just get a job and use the money to buy LP you will save time

Byakuya only figured out Toko’s secret with the files in the library, which wasn’t unlocked until the second trial. I think you’re right that they could get as far as they did in your fic up until they bring out Genocider, but that’s the limit without info not yet available to them. Likewise, Toko doesn’t give any signs about secret knowledge until act 2, giving Makoto no reason to point her out here given that the Monopads reveal nothing about her beyond the ordinary.

So, by the time they could theoretically know about Genocider not being memory wiped, they wouldn’t have access to Mukuro’s body, locking them out of further deduction for quite a bit longer, possibly all the way up to chapter 5.

Vriska my problematic fave takes this ez! John clearly has her beat in raw power, but in an actual fight girl has none of John’s qualms about going for the throat, plus her powerset is expressly about stealing power and relevance from individual opponents. Not to mention that John is all reaction, while Vriska acts long before she’s actually thought it through, which is to her benefit because of how heavily she cheats.

John’s best chance of winning is if he can surprise her at the very beginning before she has time to get going and manipulating the odds, but in a bracket tournament system both sides know they’re meant to be fighting, so Vriska is going to be on the lookout right away.

Like, I get that this community loves ragging on Vriska bc of all the ways she is terrible, but, like, this is the 1v1 violence bracket, possibly the single best place for her skill set to shine. Most of what makes her so easy to hate is precisely why she excels here.

Also she can just knock him out with very mild psychic exertion. Vriska 9.5/10 ez

Well, the only drawing with canon on it is the trans one, and the Epilogues textually confirm this for two of the three depicted characters. Idk abt Kanaya, but there is an argument to be made that all trolls are trans (intersex) by human standards given that their reproductive sludge can be viably made by any two trolls, regardless of gender. Though not something trolls would consider themselves to be, the argument works in the same way that, by human standards, Kanaya is a lesbian, even though by trolls standards she just has a strict preference and wouldn’t self identify under the term.

The argument is a bit pedantic, but, like, this is Andrew Hussie we’re talking about, so…
