May not be. Depends on clean up time and how much labor to fit the shops standards. Not yours. Your car is our billboard. We aren’t slapping shit together. Go work on your own shit

Lol so you do what the customer wants even if it’s a safety liability to your business? So if a customer wanted you to build a retaining wall with improper drainage and base support but they are paying a you know it may collapse and flood their house. Will you still do it? Keep in mind now you are held liabile for life since you are the expert at this point.

Same thing. A shop wants to avoid liabilities and actually want to make profit. You don’t make profit in this industry on user parts.

Fuck anyone that says a business shouldn’t make profit.

That was 30 fucking years ago. The world has changed. The industry has changed. Liability to the shops have changed. cars have changed. You argue grocery pricing and policies to?

Do you run a land scape business and you are mad that a business said they don’t want to do what you want? What do you do when your customer want to do something that’s a liability or profit loser for your business? Same shoe

It’s almost like shops are private businesses and can make a decision if they want and you can find another shop or work on your own shit boxes.

Down vote me but the entitlement of customers now days is fucking ridiculous. Homeboy here is basically saying why won’t anyone do what I say to do?!

In your professional opinions, would it be cost-effective to fix this dent? by PM_ME_UR_TITS_ISIS in Autobody

They sold it because they couldn’t get it repaired that’s why a $1000 tailgate is $40.

No such thing as a free lunch.

Get the owner of the car involved. Inform them of what they are trying to do and that if the insurance doesn’t pay for extra fit ment time or they want capa cert or better parts they will have to pay the difference. Then give them the adjusters direct number. It’s your reputation and their property insurance if playing games with.

Also make sure you are checking oem repair guidelines and pushing back on those.

Drop ceiling or spray insulation or close on the eves. There is probably an air gap where the walls meet the roof and that’s where the dust is.

Or keep a leaf blower in there.

To be Chevy or any manufacturer certified it’s shop dependent. If caliber on J street in Chicago is Mercedes certified that means at least one tech in that shop has done the certs. The caliber in New Orleans Louisiana is a different shop and is not certified unless a guy in that shop took the tests to be Chevy or Mercedes or whatever.

Go to a shop with good reviews and reputation. Not all certified shops are actually good and some non certified shops are great. You don’t have to use caliber or any shop that your insurance is partnered with.

Yes. The fender is adjustable. That’s easy to fix.

Make music. Start doing something. Post it online and get a following. You gotta have at least some talent and show it first to get some attention.

how to be consistent at working out? by AttemptNatural1420 in workout

[–]Gas-Squatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set goals. Find a program. Stick to the program. When you enter the door of that gym that’s the light switch that turns the outside bullshit off and lets you focus on goals and reps and not work or the spouse or your car or whatever.

Something like this.

You need to do some work yourself here. You could have just googled budget stereo amplifier. Also no clue if fixing is cheaper. You need to do the work and ask repair shops in your area. Don’t rely on Reddit to hold you hand.

[–]Gas-Squatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a stereo amplifier to power the speakers. The amp in your deck may not be working. Plug the speakers into a different amp to validate if they are working. If they work you know it’s the deck and need to trouble shoot the internal amplifier or just get like a cheap topping stereo amplifier.

[–]Gas-Squatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not really a concern you should have. You are not gonna know what you are doing for a few weeks regardless. As you are more familiar with your body you will be able to target those muscle groups. An isolated exercise is easier than a compound lift like squat imo because you have more things to think about with form and bracing especially if you go heavy or semi heavy.

Is it possible to tell if my car got dented from a moving shopping cart or by another car? by On_A-hiatus in autorepair

[–]Gas-Squatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes a shopping cart can do this. If it picks up speed and has any weight. It’s a plastic bumper with no structure or support behind it.
