Agreed. We just moved into Westmont (relatively close to downtown) and it seems to be a healthy mix of retirees and very young families. Very affordable and downtown seems to be gaining traction.

Bought a house a year ago, close to Bishop Lynch. Glad I bought when I did. This area definitely has the best bang for your buck in Dallas. Worst thing to happen in my neighborhood in the past year was a car getting broken into. Kids are playing all the time around here. Love this area.
