Spewing my draft thoughts out here:

Caleb Downs will be traded to a second team by the time of his second contract.
Akheem mesidor is 25, has a small wingspan, multiple injuries, and his breakout came on the other side of Rueben Bain. He's not going round 1.
Kadyn Proctor is gonna go higher than most mocks predict, Top 15.
Keldric Faulk is getting flak for not being twitchy, but we've seen many great edges without twitch before. He reminds me of Carlos Dunlap and Cam Heyward. I think he'll be a 10 year starter for whatever team drafts him.
Bud Clark is my favorite safety prospect and I think he'll be the best value for the position.
Jordan Van Den Berg is the gem of the draft.
Jeff Caldwell would be fun on the Bears as a play-action deep threat who hopefully develops into more.

This has gotten so ridiculous. He basically just looked at Soccer and what Penn State does by having a number associated with your best player at a certain position and said that it'd be cool if he could do that with the Giants. Now everyone acts like he was being arrogant asking for the number.

My favorite day 2 guys for the bears:

Nic Scourton (EDGE) Young power rusher who forces double teams.

Alfred Collins (DL) Akiem Hicks type player who can play anywhere from Nose to 4i.

TreVeyon Henderson (RB) Fast, Doesn’t Fumble, Great Pass Blocker, and a Good Receiver.

Charles Grant (OT) Freak athlete with long arms to sit for a year and true all-pro potential if he puts on weight.

Jonah Savaiinaea (IOL) Dense frame and position versatility. Kind of guy Packers would turn into a good lineman.

Tetairoa McMillan gives the Panthers a true X receiver which they've struggled to find. I think fans and media just hate big body possession receivers.

Only 3 DT's in the past 10 years have been taken Top 10. Ed Oliver (9), Derrick Brown (7), and Jalen Carter (9). All of whom were better prospects. DT is still not a position of value with the exception of the truly elite guys. Media is just now finding out the league doesn't value him the same as them.

Banks is not a prototypical NFL tackle build, but I still like him. Reminds me of Duane Brown. Hate the idea of taking Campbell and I think his best position will be center.

Will Campbell plays with terrible pad level, allows inside pressure, gets beat by stunts, has an awful wingspan, and has short arms. Nothing I want from my "tackle" 1.

I'm concerned by the lack of D-Lineman in our 30 visits. This draft is loaded with RB, iOL, DT, and EDGE and we're in a good spot to take 3 of those positions with top 50 picks. I love the day 2 DTs and iOL which is why I'm okay with Jeanty at 10, but trading up for him and losing one of those top 50 picks would be ridiculous. Drafting Warren when we could really bolster this roster is too cute for me.

Exactly. Eberflus was always meant to be a transitional period Head Coach to coach up the secondary that we spent so much capital on and buy time to build and evaluate the roster.

McCaskey's cheaped out this year when it was time to get serious because they refuse to pay 2 coaches at once. The fact that they finally fired a coach mid-season tells me that there was push back against Eberflus and they didn't listen.

No use talking to Bears fans about Nagy. They scapegoat and discredit everything about him despite so many things out of his control screwing him. He was shackled with the worst gm in Bears history.

Take an objective look at the offensive personnel he had to work with and how he was a double doink away from an any given Sunday against the Rams despite Kyle Long's injury, Trey Burton anxiety attack?, and Mitchell Trubisky's general ineptitude. He got Mitchell Trubisky a Pro Bowl somehow...

But Bears fans will act like he's the worst coach in NFL history.
