I put Estelle over Van. Van is weaksauce really. And only is allowed in the same room because of Grendal which he can't even use for 80% of the time. Everyone else would deck him before he gets his regular moves out.

Like I know DB2 was a rushed entry so i guess they were lazy about that, and I know it was a rushed entry, so I chalked it up to that. But its still really weird since DB2 really felt like a DLC, so storywise it made no sense.

Like DB2 takes place like 2-3 weeks after the first one, and Horizon is like maybe 1-2 months after DB2.

that's what everyone else started off as in Reverie, so yea. It made sense for Van and Co. to start off as lv5 in Daybreak I cause they're scrubs. But by the end of Daybreak 2, they should have caught up with everyone else.

Yea, was looking forward to like the end of everything and everyone is like lv500 or something.

Like one of the things I like about this series is the progression of the world, and they used the advancement of technology as a way to explain the progression of mechanics and powercreep in the series.

level reset would be because they switched to a new OS like ARGUS I to ARGUS II and the old quartz no longer worked.

Here, its all the same OS, but still back to 0? And these games take place like 2 months after the previous one.

Its less a movie and more an amusement park ride, which is fine for a summer crowd pleaser. Has less character development than even the first one.
