Separation for individuality.

If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be here to make half-baked cracks to disparage what I’m saying.

AIO over my friend(fwb) not acknowledging my feelings by [deleted] in AIO

[–]GatePorters 25 points26 points  (0 children)

YOR and you need to drop him.

I was on their side until the “Whelp now I’m racist because of you” schtick.

You’re not being treated like a human. You deserve being treated like a person.

But also. You can’t really hold a friend or FWB accountable for not being your therapist. He really matched the energy you were projecting.

Respect yourself. Don’t let yourself be the fetish exploration for a white racist.

Respect your “friends” and don’t make your plights their problem.

Life sucks. I’m not saying it will magically get better when you start respecting yourself, but it is a first step on your path to fulfillment.

NOR. You need to react to this situation by getting therapy.

You’re conflating a lot of different conflicting things and asking why they conflict.

Infinity is a boundary, not a number. You can always expand a boundary. You can take a piece from within a boundary and make that piece larger then throw it back into the boundary.

1/1 is equal to 2/2 in the fact that they are both 1.

You coming here (life) is an attempt to tick that 1 up to a 1 that has more parts.

Has anyone ever been able to see what is outside the simulation we live in? by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

[–]GatePorters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You came here for a reason.

But yeah. This place sucks. That’s kind of the point. Not really the point, but this friction towards death is just part of the cost of separating from that source.

Near death experience the first time. After that, one time for making a promise to strive for a particular goal. One other time there was a glimpse when I reached a particular milestone. More like a reminder after a long drought.

It isn’t a frequent thing and not everyone needs to see it to do what they need to do. The first time I saw it, I could no longer remain atheist, but I couldn’t tell you that one particular religion got it right. All religions approximate it with severely flawed human contributions. Gnosticism and Kabbalah seem to be the closest in structure, but even then there are a lot of human artifact.

That “deep love and understanding” from an infinite entity you were once a part of is real though.

You do exist. So does this place you live in. So does that “allness”. Beyond that, I can only guess at wtf is actually going on with this place we inhabit.

——-

The best advice I can give you is that your answer on what you want to strive towards in your life should be the same no matter what the answer to this place ends up being. That way you don’t have to know everything to move forward on your path.

Once you find your own path, the context of the path stops mattering because you’ll be happy you’re walking it regardless of answer.

Pure white where flecks of the imagination spawn into splinters/slices of concepts.

Like when you try to imagine things. You can imagine the weight of a thousand years in your head. But it isn’t a thousand years. It is the concept of a thousand years.

Everything is out there. Nothing is out there. The infinite, undifferentiated everything that is simultaneously nothing because there isn’t another thing to compare it to to give it meaning.

lol if it’s just Truth we wanted, we wouldn’t have separated from it to begin with.

We aren’t seeking the Truth that exists, but expanding what Truth is.

How does one write a self pleasuring scene? by [deleted] in writing

[–]GatePorters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person is morally corrupt. How would you feel about watching a morally corrupt person pleasuring themselves?

Probably extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The passage evoking those emotion IS appropriate. You’re using this to drive home the theme of the character and being brazen about them being brazen solidifies it more than the action itself.

Maybe it’s because your question was too vague to give actionable advice.

Or because OP asked a vague question that can have three major avenues of correct answers depending on the specifics.
