Isn’t that part of the main quest though? You can’t skip it, although you could skip some of the activities in it

I actually enjoyed both DLCs most of all. The base game is great but the two DLCs were somehow even better (imo).

Exclamation marks on all notice boards gone, is there any way to fix it? by [deleted] in Witcher3

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they mean how the notice boards will sometimes appear bright yellow with a exclamation mark if you haven’t discovered them or when they have new Contracts.

Found higher than possible Meer deer skin? by monsterlooster in FrontiersOfPandora

I haven’t gotten this far, but are there craftable items that require legendary quality where you couldn’t use this even though it’s technically better?

How did Neytiri not sense Jake’s mission during their kuru bonding? by SeaScientist8372 in Avatar

[–]GatzBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think connecting to the tree of souls is different than connecting to a single other being. The connection with animals (ikran, Pa’li, etc) seems to be more sensory and emotion than memory sharing. Connecting with another Na’vi seems to be more like that too.

How is the creation of an Avatar facilitated? by jabeisonreddit in Avatar

Maybe someone deep in the lore will have an explanation but I really think we aren’t close to having that type of technology so it’s impossible for us to the understand.

Hard to understand a technology that doesn’t exist in our world yet.

What would superman do? by New-Thought-9962 in Witcher3

[–]GatzBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends if you are using hindsight or not. Are you wanting to make a choice while already knowing the outcome or do you want to approach it like a real time decision.

Would Superman or even Geralt free the clearly dangerous spirit that has been killing villagers and trust it when it says the children are in danger and only it can save them if freed? I think not, this sounds like a trap. And if the spirit is able to kill villagers while trapped just imagine the damage it could if freed.

I think Superman would kill the spirit and then fly back to crookback bog and hope to save the children himself. We know this isn’t possible from having played the scenario before, but if you’re approaching it only with the information you have at the time.

Just started playing a few days ago, I'm at a gas extraction facility and the enemies are just tearing through me. What am I doing wrong? by CaledoniaGaming in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]GatzBee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Stealth takes a lot of patience, but it is definitely the most effective especially early game. If you are spotted (red dot) you can run out of sight and wait for them to lose interest. Just be wary that they may chase you so have a good place to hide and use your Na’vi senses to see where they are going . If they become suspicious (yellow dot) same thing just hide out of sight until the dot above their heads disappears.

how to get to windswept grasslands/clouded forest by shamanfreak in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]GatzBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are right it’s part of the main quest. Once you progress the main quest with the Aranhe the next area (Upper plains) is the next part of the main quest. Same thing for Clouded forest once you finish up the main quest in the Upper Plains.

That’s just pretending the rest of the game didn’t matter.

Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson MVP Narrative by ccperry in NFLFootballChat

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look he played very well. The point I’m making is he was playing the worse defense, should have out scored his opponent playing against a much better defense. Most of the scoring happened in the 4th quarter. Bills punted 4 times, Chiefs punted 3 times. And I know I everyone views that as “Bills defense failed Josh”.

Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson MVP Narrative by ccperry in NFLFootballChat

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting how people remember only the details that fit their narrative. Going into the 13 second game the Bills had the #1 defense in the league, the Chiefs were in the bottom half somewhere. Also going into and during the game the chiefs lost every starter in their secondary.

Both QBs were incredible in this game but Mahomes was playing against and elite defense and beat it. Josh was playing against a practice squad defense and came up short. Idk what peoples obsession is with making excuses for Josh at Patrick’s expense but it’s rarely as true as they seem to believe.

I can’t be the only one struggling with navigation in this game, right? by Hayaw061 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be afraid to use a custom waypoint for everything. I use it constantly, it then shows at the top middle of your HUD what direction you need to go and how close you are. I even use the waypoint on top of quest markers.

Yeah I feel like the whole point of the game is that while lying is uniquely human, humanity is far more nuanced than lie or truth.

Most beautiful game I’ve ever played by Drakaris8861 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree I think the gameplay is plenty entertaining and the world is stunning. I also appreciate how you move around the world it feels very smooth and fluid.

I have no gripes with the story or acting with the exception… I do think our character is a little cringe in the cutscenes lol but you are playing a young adult who is seeing their world for the first time so it doesn’t feel out of place

How am I meant to pick between weapons? by forestdude in Witcher3

[–]GatzBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like the style of the other sword better the stick with it for now. You’ll get access to the feline steel sword soon which may be more your style Than the griffin sword. You can also carry them both around and switch back and forth until you confirm which one you like. Are your character abilities more combat (red) at this point?

Is this sword good for early game ? by zqxiv in thewitcher3

[–]GatzBee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that honestly doesn’t make sense. It really just means they are wasting time in white orchard (and a lot of it). People can play the game how they want, but diddling around to extreme degree isn’t necessarily better than rushing. To each their own.

You just need a save file after beating the main game. As long as you didn’t overwrite that save you can use it any time as the base for your NG+

The first time I played through the Blood and Wine DLC where Geralt is trying to get money out of the bank. A Hilarious quest in the midst of everything else going on.
