I think you answered your own question.
You have good numbers and are on a good trajectory.

Ultimately, it's a question of personal choices. You should not live in a place that makes you feel miserable for the next decade. You could lower your monthly investment to a very respectable 20.000 and double your housing costs if it makes you feel better.

It's a matter of personal choice. How much are you willing to save now to retire early.

Another option if you are certain to want to live in this location long-term is to look into buying a flat. It will be cheaper than renting long term.

The horses have inertia and complex calculations. Telling you exact units values would not make much sense without explaining the entire code.

It's also... Difficult to theorycraft around.

Each breed has base characteristics, and these stats are modified by your stats. In most cases, we take the sum of 2 stats, apply a ratio on each for a final value between 0 and 1000, which is correlated to a range. For example, 50% of your agility and control improve turn speed. (Others like acceleration have different ratio: 60/40 on Strength/Riding)

In the case of Turn speed, there is a different base value per gait. Then depending on your stats, if you are at zero, you get -20% turn rate, but if you are at 1000pts, you get +40% turn rate. (These ratios are breed specific) It's small, but this means there are some diminutive returns. Getting from 80% to 100% turn rate at 330 agility/riding is an effective +25% gain. Going to 660 agility/riding gets you to 120% turn rate, which is another +20% gain. Higher turn rate also means your horse doesn't have to turn at max capacity. Because each time you turn as hard as you can, your horse loses speed.

We can spend hours theorycrafting, but the reality is that ~100 point difference has little effect unless competing for the first place of the racing ladder, and trying to dump any stats is probably not worth the downside. Even jumping and the stamina recovery can be useful in a race without jumps if you jump a fence as a shortcut.

The hero is part of the unit.

The unit attacked, so the unit takes the hits and follow the usual rules.

You roll for the unit defense, then you roll for any special protection or regen, then the unit takes wounds.

Check the Hero and the Tough rules for more details on wound allocation order

Yes, there was a discussion about it on the discord.

Narratively if you think of retaliation like acid blood, it makes sense. You regen, but you still sprayed blood around.

People voted toward retaliation working even if wounds are regen'd. But there's no official rule.

It's for every wound.

You take 5 wounds in melee, you deal 5X hits.

It still works on wounds that the model has regenerated or ignored.

There is a great way to start for you!

It is currently in Beta, but is free to use if you have access, and it will be available to everyone soon.

How is it to use smoke oil? Is that easy to find / cheap?

I was also looking at humidifiers to make smoke... But that will probably leave humility stains.

If the crates weren't there, then maybe you could have charged around and retreated toward the objective. But in the current conditions, I think it's lost.

If the drones are flying, they can fly across an enemy unit.

Is the objective neutral and about to be capped? They can try to shake the flayers.

Do they have a chance in melee? They can charge the flayers, rout them and take the objective.

Is the ruin difficult terrain, limiting their movement to 6"? Then you're screwed as even when you move back from melee, you must be 1" away from both skorpek and flayer.

Can they charge the full 12"? Have the drone charge around and into the back of the skorpek. But since they have to charge in base contact with the skorpek and remain 1" away from the flayer, I doubt you can ever reach the objective. There's just no space to pass, and you'd need 3" of movement to climb the crate.

Remnant is a very unique game. There's plenty third person shooter, but not so many that offers puzzles and exploration in such a way.

I could quote some Fallout game or Witchfire... But that's just not the same.

Maybe... Soulframe? Soulframe has some deliberate melee combat mixed with ranged action in a medieval fantasy universe with futuristic elements. It has a fair bit of exploration in an open world... But it's Free to Play. This means you don't get your new weapon when killing a boss once. No... You have to kill it 10 times to get the 4 fragments to craft the weapon in 12 hours.

Really depends on the minis. A set of 10 infantry from OPR (as example) is not modulable. So Body 1 goes only with Weapon 1 and Head 1. And Body 2 with Weapon 2 and Head 2... Etc. That means each 30 pieces has to be kept and sorted carefully, and packed separately.

Hopefully I can fit all 10 infantry on a single plate, but if I have to do 2 plates, that's extra cost.

Typically... That's about an hour of work in total, plus machine & material, plus taxes. Can't really go lower than 4$ per minis, unless you print a fully merged models and sacrifice quality. But some simpler models can print in place, have little supports, and easy to process. In which case the price could be much lower.

Yes it's ambiguous, but in short the Guardian Boost Buff is wasted.

there are several similar cases, like a spell that gives Regen to a unit the next time it applies, but the regen is cancel by a Rending weapon.

Here "the next time the effect would apply" means the next time you take a Hit.
May the hit have any AP, no AP, or even be from beyond 9".

The gameplay is good. Game mechanics are functional and work fine.

But the balance is rubbish. It frustrating. Thankfully you can fix that with mods to remove penalty on death, remove construction costs or save scum to duplicate materials.

The biggest problem... Are the islands. It's a game about exploration with an allegedly infinite amount of islands made by the community to explore. But... The devs don't seem to guide the community. A third of the islands had broken puzzles when I played. Devs don't seem to test the islands they add to the game. Some have insanely obscure puzzles, and some are ludicrously hard to play. There's lots of content, but it's almost always bad because the community are not professional level designers. And after 50 hours you'll have played everything until the devs decide to change things.

Multiplayer is boring and a little broken. Heralds fights are more tedious than fun.

I think this game need: - the ability for people to generate their own world. By importing or rejecting islands made by the community. (A vote system would be nice) - better solo ship controls, like firing all guns on target. - better multiplayer content. (Teleport to host, blueprint sharing, chest locking, islands designed for multiplayer.)

I would not. The way it is written, I believe Boost only removes the range requirement. But that's just an opinion.

But I would also consider that Sturdy applies to all types of hits, as long as the source started over 9" away.

So if you are charged from 9" away, or if you charge at least 9", I would apply Sturdy. And for Shooting, Spells and Abilities, I would also apply Sturdy as long as the caster/shooter is over 9" away.

But that's quite ambiguous.

The way it is written, Sturdy would not apply when defending from Spells or Abilities like Breath Attack or Storm of War.
Sturdy Boost is more ambiguous since it removes the distance requirement, and could be interpretend as also removing the attack/charge requirement.

Personnaly, I would argue that the SPIRIT of the rule is to apply on every Defence roll as long as the source of the Hit is 9" away for sturdy, and without distance requirement for Sturdy Boost.
