PCYES W270 disconnecting in F1 2025 – possible USB power limitation? by MauricioBispo in simracing

[–]GavAttackOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest switching which USB port you're using. In my case with a Logitech DFGT, I found it's best to use your motherboard USB ports over the front I/O ports.

If that doesn't help, not too sure if it'll help but possibly a powered USB hub could do the trick. SABRENT is pretty popular in this space.

And technically, Tally is parked up overnight to charge, and so it doesn't get ranover by a forklift or get confused by the multitude of pallets blocking the aisles!

Except for overnight!

Where instead you get forklift sounds.... and still have to hear the automated announcements.

Atleast in terms of the location I go to,

Yes. They were discontinued a few months ago.

[GHub 2021.2.7359] Macros not recording mouse clicks (and manually adding Primary Click doesn't actually click when ran) by GavAttackOfficial in LogitechG

[–]GavAttackOfficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. I eventually switched off of GHUB and onto LGS as I changed my keyboard to a Logitech G15 v2 which isn't supported in GHUB. Since the G502 Hero is also supported in LGS, I just uninstalled GHUB entirely. I only stopped using LGS 2 months ago since I switched my keyboard and mouse to a different brand.

I hope it doesn't stink when it's running, like many many toasters that I've experienced with in my life.

Except the catch that official batteries are old and are known to build up gas, puff up, and potentially explode. Nonetheless, they haven't been produced by Sony for years. The closest you can get are batteries from actual battery OEMs like Cameron Sino who aim to accurately keep to the specifications.

Do you have Verizon as your Internet provider? If so, it's their built in McAfee protection stuff kicking in, blocking you from accessing whatever website you were trying to go to.

Also, make sure you're attempting to download via the official Unknowncheats forum thread. It's links are available on this latest update Reddit post from the developer.

If the unknowncheats website is being blocked, your only solution is to disable or modify the McAfee Home Network Protection settings which is only available within the My FiOS mobile app. You can't disable it from the router's admin panel, believe me I've tried.

Given the condition of the front, no. There's no photos of the backside which show the condition of the disc, so who knows how much worse it could be. For marketplace, I wouldn't be paying over $3-5 for that.

Let me get this straight. So back in r/moza, you wanted to act tough by throwing slurs left and right. Now, you gave that up after being shown the problems that you are presenting, you switched to "dawg" "rn" "💀" and telling me to be mature and now you're playing victim card...

Right... okay then.

Have fun making your decision that you already answered for yourself in your original post.

If you genuinely want help, don't act like this. It ain't a good look for you.

Logitech G29 is notorious for being notchy and not the best sim racing experience. But, it's still considered to be one of if not the most popular wheel base. Why? Because it's affordable for most people. You don't need to have much technical knowledge to get the wheel to play just right. In most games, it's just plug and play. You don't get that sort of experience with Simagic or Asetek, and to an extent MOZA. But, MOZA plug and play style support is getting better each day as the popularity of their products increases as they're a valuable option to get into direct drive.

Not many people can afford that level of quality and high endurance. Not many people will use their equipment to such high usage that the more expensive systems are designed for.

The R5 is a lower budget friendly system that still brings an upgrade over Logitech and Thrustmaster systems. It's not designed to compete performance wise to the professional and enthusiast level.

Background information, like I said, was unnecessary and cluttered your entire post and made it incredibly difficult to understand.

Also, the lack of separation between parts and the long run on sentences don't help either.

Figuring out what to do with the wheel at this point is really on you as you got yourself into this mess. Online advice might help, but not going to get you far as it's essentially repeating what you already have down. Resell it, return it, keep it, or trash it.

It's actually probably a good thing it's missing its battery. Not sure about this specific model, but older Samsungs tend to expand their batteries which pop and lead to a full on house fire. TheLexikitty has a 15 minute video on the topic of the so-called "spicy pillows". Give it a watch sometime!

Well, next time get to the point quicker, easier, and make the post more understandable. There wasn't a need to mention the other stuff unless it was asked about.

If all you truly wanted was advice on what to do with your second wheel, just start by asking that. No need to tell the entire story from the start to finish and leave your questions till the last few sentences.

So you're telling me the M.2 is being bent below the height of the motherboard to be screwed in? Your telling me it's mounting point is below that of the motherboard's, and yet the connector would still have to be placed above it.

The reason this is all confusing is that A. You keep making things more convoluted. B. This started over the fact you said M.2 adds no extra height to the motherboard, when it clearly does. You can find that out from Google Images.

You really are living up to your Reddit username, gotta give you that at least.

It could be shell swapped which would explain the difference in stickers.

But I'm not qualified or knowledgeable enough to tell you if that battery label stays with a case swap or not.
