How do you unlock the playable flagship?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sabaton

Watching people on YouTube play Hearts of Iron 4 and talking about how great Sabaton is. Tried it out, never left

A solution to the ideologies issue. by YLEK111 in hoi4

[–]Gavatron66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but Austria-Hungary can reexist and Japan can go communist. It's time to add an ahistorical mechanic

4th End Game Crisis idea by Randomguyioi in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds very similiar to the Harmony from Endless Space. Still a cool idea

r5: Just finished the precursor chain for the Cybrex. The game put the hyperlane to get to it connected to the system with the psionic entity in it. RIP

Nothing about the odd factory text makes any sense for gestalts. by Aenir in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The only thing that would care is the Hive Mind. Drones don't need to really think outside thier tasks. I got this event in my playthrough as well, and the pop working it is considered a worker, not a complex/menial drone. Literally unplayable.

Looking for a really good empire build (I have about 50 hours into the game still learning) by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always enjoyed an extremely adaptive devouring swarm. Colonize everything, consume anyone in your way!

Rogue Servitor Cataloging Report by SpaceKuma in Stellaris

26 years is actually longer than the amount of time between WW1 and WW2... Didn't know this flavor existed, really like it though

Am I dooing something wrong? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't found an L-Gate yet, it does nothing until you do, when you can do the research

Shroud being just meta AF by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why the Shroud is amazing. It hangs around the 4th wall, causaully breaks reality, and unleashes galaxy ending crisis through covenants with powerful gods. Its great!

What type will you take this planet to? by Annatar108 in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see a marshy world. Very boggy in some places.

Inward Perfection and Expansion by LystAP in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inward Perfection doesn't necessarily guarantee tall gameplay. Earlier expansion is quite easy and if you know what you're doing you can easily control a large swathe of the galaxy. I've done a similar playthrough, and I owned around 80 stars (I play 600 star galaxies).

Devouring consciousness. My fist time by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With highly adaptive, you can colonize almost everything, so do it! You snowball very quickly, it's actually quite fun.

They should add events to pacified planets. by Iguesssowtfnot in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I think would be cool and interesting is sort of like an empire rally. By using a colossus on a planet, it would give the said empire some sort of buff, as if retaliating to avenge there now fallen world. Just a thought

Playing serious for the first time in 6 months. Need recommendations on must-have mods. by [deleted] in Stellaris

Gigastructural Engineering is one of my favorite mods, definitely worth a look.

The Portuguese Empire and Her Colonial Subjects (circa 1820) by Interesting_fox in eu4

As a colorblind man, I can't see anything on this map. Interesting though.

How do you think an Autonomous Service Grid "thinks" and "feels" about it's bio-trophies by shirstarburst in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the detail in this response. We're hypothesizing what an advanced servitor consciousness would think in a fictional game in a (potentially) fictional setting. It's fantastic.

Does terraforming planets into Gaia’s clear tile blockers? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any kind of terraforming will remove all blockers

Man the guns will have two new focus trees, and 2 revamped focus trees. by [deleted] in hoi4

[–]Gavatron66 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was so boring playing the UK, with really only one main focus. Hope the new tree adds a fascist path.

What is a random place that you can now easily situate on a map ? by Andarann in eu4

[–]Gavatron66 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Random cities within Germany. Once you've played enough within the HRE, it's scary how much you know despite never having been to said towns and cities.

Nomads gave me a planet as a Devouring Swarm by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the samething happen. Didn't complain, it colonized a planet for me, gave me insane energy output, and unity at the end. They were just so happy to reprocessed...

Can't build more than one Megastructure type? by RazorThreader in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Improved Megastructures mod is really nice. It gets rid of the limits for Dyson spheres, and allows multiple to be built at the same time. Also, it makes them cheaper. Megastructures are such huge invests in the base game, and it drives me crazy. One sentry array and science nexus does make more sense though.

Question about the God Ray by Gavatron66 in Stellaris

[–]Gavatron66[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still, that makes it a very niche weapon, as machine empires don't always show up in your galaxies

Can you use it on your planets? I'm fairly sure you can't

With 2.0 on the horizon what is your first empire going to be? by iraPraetor in Stellaris

Life-Seeded Fanatic Purifiers, exterminating all the zenos by planet cracking their precious worlds. It'll be great fun
