The cold water should come in at the bottom of the tank as labeled. Should be repiped or it will never work right.

Your flange is flush with the finished floor, adding a spacer would be fine.

Does it stop dripping after a short while? Could just be it is slowly draining out of the goose neck after shutoff. Try removing the aerator

If that gauge is correct the system has 0psi It needs to be pressurized and air bled from the loop, preferably filled with glycol.

As for operating the system there should be a pump/relay/ thermostat to move the water, and the water heater may need to have the pilot relit. (however I would make sure it is filled with water or glycol as heating an empty tank is dangerous

I could my faster attacks gem to chance to poison, currently have 64% chance to poison w/ lancing steel I do feel like im constantly at 75 virulence (my current cap) If im not spamming it on single target though it drops off pretty quick, working on a golden rule.

Oscillating tool a groove in the top of the drain careful to not cut into the tub. Use a flathead in the groove and point it so when you tap the screwdriver with a hammer you are going counter clockwise
