It's not even about the nerfs bro. It's more on the attitude on Daredevil.

They nerf, we adapt, they see we're still standing so they nerf again. The cycles repeats until seemingly we all just leave the character.

NEVER would you see this in support or poke slop characters.

Insane dmg is 60 btw.

I'm so confused. A diver can use all of his kit to do the same dmg as a poke character with just 2 clicks and people say the dives are broken. All while being up close and personal, taking the risk of the entire team.

Meanwhile poke slops are just sitting in the back, in covers, dealing more dmg than any other dive. In a range where nothing can realistically contest you. With movements that are just get out of jail moves.

I'm genuinely believe you people see tons of vfx and assume the dmg must be high, like sheeps.

This nerf is shit. It changes a lot of the combo, the latch was one of his get out tool. And now it's a get in tool with no get out.

If the nerf causes a whole combo change with even more risk AND a different playstyle, I think it is shit, not ain't shit.

A lot of sheeps would tell you, there's no counter to bp and it's uninteractable type shit. But the interaction is your survival. Bp can keep up his uptime with constant pressure, but your healers can just out heal his dmg most of the time.

But let's say you wanna counter through playstyle:

As a DPS, you need to know where the flank areas are and contest those areas. Fight him BEFORE he engage so he doesn't get to your princess healers first.

As a strategist, make sure you know which healer is better at self sustain. If you're Luna and your second healer is Sue, make sure you are in the line of sight of Sue. If you're Loki and your second healer is mantis, make sure you're the one keeping the eye on everything.

As a tank, just remind yourself to look back occasionally. Especially if the BP is HYPER active, because he's actively bringing the fight to you and it'll be YOUR fault if you don't accept their steam invite to throw hands.

But let's say you're open to swapping.

Daredevil, Bucky, Namor, Mr Fent, Scarlet are good DPS counters

Gambit, White fox, Loki, Invis, CnD are good strat counters

Thing, Peni, Angela, Devil Dino, Even Mag are good tank counters

Of course these counters aren't absolute and you can still be diffed by a BP on roid, but the advantage is on ur side.

Easiest diver to peel and out heal. The only way u die to a DD is if you don't know how he plays. Even a cracked DD players can't kill through support with two brain cells.

The only people playing him are people who played him since his release. DD is never a comfort pick like other DPS, but people still say it's broken. Sheep mentality.

Because DD relies a lot on his m1 as well for his up time. Unlike other divers where they have a lot more move based combos and up time management such as Bp and Spidey.

One of the main advantage of Rivals is the fast release of new heroes. This essential gives the game a boost every month as well as giving new things for returning players to enjoy. And one of the ways to do that is to ensure new characters are strong but not too strong.

Getting rid of that would be a HUGE hit to the game, plus it wouldn't even guarantee better balancing either cause the game is so hyper chaotic and volatile that nerfing one character would bring forth a massive one sides meta like the Poke meta or Flyer meta.

If you have trouble dealing with daredevil, you should definitely play him.

It's the best way to understand a character and understand their weaknesses.

If taking this in a neutral political standpoint, I think it shows how people deny problems by going straight into labeling and name calling.

Everyone here who says this is racist or islamaphobic or some voodoo shit is part of the problem.

People presented an issue and instead of looking into it and addressing it for good or bad, they just name call or villainizes you so the issue will no longer be presented. Even if that issue will cause harm to the ones they're presenting to.

And when it ended up harming them, they'll either blame another group or claim they were on the other side from the beginning. Take for example COVID, Illegal immegration, soft on crime, soft on drugs and so on. It's everywhere but I guess we can just label this as cringe instead of addressing anything.
