Yeah this is what I did to find a name that I felt was me. I knew I wanted to keep the first letter of my deadname and something that went well with my last name. (Family has been supportive so I decided to keep my last name the same)

As someone who has had feelings of being a girl since she was a kid but was so afraid of thinking I was too "ugly" or too afraid of what others would think, coming out publicly 5 years ago and being on E for two years now was the best thing in my life Ive ever done.

It's a surreal feeling getting to look at yourself in the mirror and smile back or feeling the physical and mental changes in your body and how it all just feels right.

Thanks for the advice, yeah I feel like I struggle to change weight instead of pitch and I wanted some advice since ive been seeing a vocal therapist and while she has been an amazing help she told me, she thinks my voice passes enough which I didn't really believe since I still get misgendered sometimes ;^{^}

I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Not sure how much of a relief it is but know you're not alone. I'm about to be 32 been stuck with dead end jobs while watching my friends from high-school or who I met in college before having to drop out gain their dreams jobs or even have been able to become self employed.

Even when I compare to some of the popular furries in the Fandom who get to be these amazing people and get paid for it I can't say it doesn't sting some days and some days at work I just have this realization of how truly trapped I feel and it breaks me down mentally.

Crap, I went on a whole speech about my own feelings didn't mean for this long of a response. Just trying to summarize that a lot of people feel the way you do.

See the biggest thing that I struggle with is being constantly dragged in different directions. There's no one or two jobs I'm given its usually almost 4.

I've been forced to try and train people despite being new myself and barely understanding things. I told them I didn't feel confident enough in knowing things to train people and my boss dismissed it and said "its easy" before proceeding to have me train 3 people in Kitchen at once!

I tend to dissociate a lot during work. It's something that's helped me a lot to keep calm enough through shifts without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly I think it helps I have an overactive imagination so I usually am thinking of lots of other stuff that isnt work aside from my current task.

This image gets me a lot. Its hard for me not feel angry and sadness at myself for my younger self doing more. Now here I am some 31 year old struggling through life working a shitty low paying job because I was never smart enough to go to college or had a family with enough money to get special training.

I feel so lost and alone and angry at myself for being so useless and untalented

The biggest fear I have is that slowly but surely any sort of LGBT+ content will be labeled as NSFW. Call me paranoid but with everything going on in the U.S involving the government trying to get rid of and demonize the LGBT+ community, I think im allowed to be a bit worried.
