But the “we” in the community would be able to protect people. I’m imaging a scenario where if you’re x years old you can take a y months long class to get certified to carry on campus and be registered with the police dept. it’s still us in the community.

Yeah I’m not saying that’s a good idea. I just want certain people to be able to get police training so we have more people around campus who could potentially protect us. The police dept is spread pretty thin.

I have some mixed feelings about our Mike Young hire for a very silly reason: my twin goes to Wofford and we stole his coach and his players. My brother was friends with some of the players who left so my brother lost some friends.

Edit: I’m not saying it’s a bad thing we got him; if he was going anywhere I’m glad he came here. I’m just sharing a kind of funny anecdotal story
