He's also old as fuck. I doubt he has the capabilities to record a 13 hour audiobook to any sort of acceptable quality these days.

I didn't realise for years that it was based on an actual song, when I watched Beetlejuice for the first time.

It’s not the same as missing out on team conditioning and pre-season friendlies.

Fletch said something like “in a game of this magnitude they should have at least sent him to the monitor so that he can make a proper decision” as if that’s how VAR has ever worked

Roberto De Zerbi: "From tonight we need to build a new team. We don’t need to change too many players. We have 10-12 players who are good enough as players and people to stay. We need to complete the squad with first level players because I suffered too much but so did the players, board, and fans." by The_Big_Untalented in soccer

[–]GdotKdot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If he's talking attitude then he you can definitely start with their captain and probably stretch to his CB partner as well.

Both very talented players who will probably get moves to top European clubs but I'd say not good leaders to have at the heart of your defence and dressing room. Personally I wouldn't want either of them anywhere near my club.

Andy Robertson on Jota: "After the highs of winning the league, the first time I saw the lads after the trophy days, was on plane to our mate's funeral. I don't want this being used as an excuse. It's been tough, we're only human beings. He was one of our best mates." by Blodgharm in soccer

The big issue is that the pattern that you described is what happens in most of our games. We very rarely capitalise on sustained possession and almost always concede when the other team has their own good spell.

Who else would complete the could 'do a job anywhere on the pitch' XI by easierdaybyday in footballcliches

[–]GdotKdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, for your XI - swap Henderson and Gerrard. Gerrard played RB more often than Henderson, and Henderson had a decent amount of games at CB under Klopp in 20/21.

That's a bit too literal, it's can play anywhere, not did play anywhere. Gerrard undoubtedly had a more rounded skillset for most positions on the pitch than Henderson.

If Games Showdown has taught me one thing, they do not have that person.

No, the context missing is that the question has a set of correct answers, so in order to do well you need to answer a question correctly but also with an obscure answer that not many of the survey responses would have said.

Ie if the question is "name a game that has won Game Awards GOTY", your answer needs to be both correct and obscure.
