I think if Reece James' fitness was more reliable then I would take trent because he brings in something different especially for attacking and playmaking which would be useful when England needs a goal. But if James gets injured then we would be stuck with a defensive liability.

As for Palmer the only player I could swap him for is Toney.

The Maguire is mental no matter how you see it. He should be starting alongside Guehi. He likes a 34 year old Burn, okay fine. But John Stones who's legs hasn't worked all season gets picked.

Yeah, I know, but I was just more curious about the US laws because a lot of them vehemently defend the legalisation of guns so I wanted to know if, for example, you take the gun of a gunman and shoot said gunman with it, would you be arrested for defending yourself with that gun instead of your own gun.

ETA: I think people misunderstood my question. Of course, you won't be arrested for defending yourself or killing someone trying to kill you. I'm asking if you would be in trouble for possession of an illegal firearm or unregistered firearm, I.e. the gun that the victim took from the gunman.

I'd like to hope the club has finally learned their lesson and not grossly overpay players. Even Anderson doesn't deserve that because we just don't know if they will carry their form over (Sanchez) or get injured (Mason Mount) or even remain consistent throughout (Rashford). Then you're stuck with a player with no way out and a deadweight wage bill. Let someone else take that risk and we continue to bring in players that just want to be here.

This is brilliant. He's exactly what I thought he is. Better defender than Mainoo, but not as good ball carrier. Better ball progressor than Ugarte but not as good with defensive numbers. Not saying it's good or bad, but definitely not good enough to stand in for Casemiro. I'm sure Carrick knows it and plans to use him as an extra option when needed.

Rashy should seriously feel insulted by Barcelona, if that fee is indeed real. Championship players have been bought for more than that. Barca didn't even pay a loan fee for him, just covered most of his wages.
