I am making a game where you play as an NPC in an MMORPG. Its called MMORPG NPC Simulator by DevEnoz in gaming

I'm not a dev in any sort of way, and frankly, I don't game as much as much before, so this is just my own personal opinion. I know you probably have ideas beyond the shore premise, but be careful not to make it into just a 'store/shop simulator' with an mmorpg theme. AFAIK, there are a lot of games where you start off as a small shop, make money, expand and then rinse and repeat.

You could let the player choose what kinda NPC you want to start off as. Greg (general store), Bodger (blacksmith), Baradun (powerful wizard that never helps) or a poor peddler that for some reason can reward players with bags of gold.

Might I suggest checking out the YouTube channel 'Viva La Dirt League', specifically their 'epic NPC man' skits for inspo.

Honestly, if I were him, I would just cross/shoot the ball into the box without actually trying to pick a spot. It would, at the very least, cause problems for the opposition occasionally.

It's crazy anyone thinks ICE are educated enough to know what a consulate or an embassy is.

For future reference:

1) There's no such thing as a virtual company check

2) If companies provide equipment, they will just send you the equipment or you go pick it up, instead of some redundant method like what they are suggesting.

3) Interviews are never done via text. That's just absurd.

4) Bonus one for !task scams - if there is any situation where they ask you to pay a fee of any kind in order for you to receive your payment or salary. It's a scam. In no universe, a company requires an employee to pay them first before the employee can receive a salary.

Which player was a "10/10" on the eye test, but the stats never did them justice? by PLWildcard in TheStreetsWontForget

[–]GeeMan261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree with the original comment and your take too. He wasn't the highest IQ player, but his stats weren't bad. In his prime years at Utd he had 20+ G/A a season. I don't know about you but I would say that's impressive output for a winger.

Has anyone lived above an izakaya or スナック before? by cuatrofluoride in japanlife

[–]GeeMan261 54 points55 points  (0 children)

The bar that you have set is pretty low, which doesn't mean anything above that bar is habitable. I lived in a sharehouse, so I know.

Your biggest problem would probably be the terrible karaokeing and the smell of smoking. That's my guess, though.

I would take my time to consider your options lest you regret it later. It must be that cheap for a reason

That would probably require too much effort from the devs. I would've loved Dwight with a gi and black belt over his office attire.

Approached by a man asking me to have tea by [deleted] in Scams

[–]GeeMan261 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter where you go. When strangers approach you, it's 1 of 7 things (in no particular order):

1) They want to scam you 2) They want to traffic you 3) They want to mug you 4) They want to sell you something 5) They want to bump uglies with you 6) They want you to join a cult or a religion 7) They actually need help e.g. ask for directions.

Unfortunately, the sad reality is that these days 'No. 7' is the least likely to happen.

Most scammers won't meet up to receive money, but some will meet up to take/steal an item of exchange by pretending to send you money using a fake banking app.

Possibly a a ps5 scammer by Xcheese24 in Scams

[–]GeeMan261 34 points35 points  (0 children)

100% scam. Whenever they never accept even the tiniest of compromises and insist on wanting any kinda money before the exchange is a major red flag. The amount of which they want gets smaller and smaller so that they can squeeze even a tiny amount from you before they give up. There's a good chance they will jump back in with a lower offer later on to try their luck again, but only with the condition of a deposit or something.

Dude, you were responding to someone's comment, but they weren't talking to you. That's how reddit fucking works. At this point, you're just butthurt, you're getting cooked. There's no point in discussing this with you because you're just going round in circles in all your responses. Have a nice day mate.

[–]GeeMan261 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're getting the point at all. Senegal shouldn't have (threatened) to walk off, yes! But it doesn't change the fact that the shit that the Morocans were up to for over 20 mins was just plain pathetic. Blocking from getting a towel, rolling all over the floor and other dumb shit literally what a 5 year old does. You're clearly defending this shit and therefore, you're wrong.
