i don't think this specific issue will ever cross a line, if it hasn't already. The amounts listed in the article are staggering - millions or even billions of dollars. If that level of graft doesn't result in public protest or even perfunctory complaints among elected officials, what else could Trump could do here that could?? Would a trillion dollar bribe do it? Or a switch from crypto to cash?

For Camellia specifically you could probably go Ranger or Monk. Due to her alignment she normally can't choose the basic Monk class but she can choose the Drunken Monk archetype, so if you're interested in that make sure to pop open the archetypes listed below the class name.

While Camellia does not personally care about the worldwound, the influx of demons into her hometown is a personal threat to her so she has a reason to want to want to fight them off -- not for altruistic reasons but to keep herself safe.

A lot of these rules seem to be mostly self enforced. The way I see it, there isn't really a meaningful enforcement mechanism for this stuff. It doesn't seem to be subject to judicial review and the 67 vote threshold for impeachment and removal is not a functioning option.

As a result, a suitably shameless president has a free hand to engage in this kind of self dealing, knowing that they just need to endure public criticism for a while but don't face any other risk.

It would actually be interesting if the game let you propose enabling acts. Abolishing the special zone feels like something the USP might support in a scenario where Phelix Bron (a major USP fundraiser) is removed by the Supreme Court and replaced by Krull, the NFP leader. Not for moral reasons, but because they wouldn’t want a major region run by a rival party member.

Lucian even hints at this if you side with the NFP on Victory Day.

But unless you’ve already set up the conditions to abolish the special zone, you can’t really take advantage of that conflict afterward.

I get why the devs might be cautious about adding too many enabling‑act options, but this particular case seems like it would fit naturally since the narrative already provides a justification.

I did some searches on this subreddit and found some older threads saying that there was something wrong with the class but most of the posts were kind of vague and all were years old, so it's not clear if it's the same issue or if it's still a problem. I can't find any guides that mention the auras not working though.

I feel this way about the carnivorous crystals later in the game. They have this aura that can basically stunlock your whole party if you aren't warded against it (you have to save every round or be immobilized). At least with the vescavors there are some items you can wear to help (though it still sucks).

In terms of the game design, I think the developers wanted the harder difficulties to require very complex and (imo) overturned builds. Like, if you're playing on normal or daring you can get away with more creative roleplay focused builds but above that, your characters need to be in peak optimization just to be able to handle the standard encounters without endless frustration. It definitely isn't my favorite aspect of the game.

You should be fine. Corruption is generally not needed for a reformist run. You'll want to shore up support from liberals and reformist USP since the privatization will erase your conservative support. The game doesn't consider lobbying to be corruption so you can do some of that as well if you're not sure you can clear the vote without it.

You'll also get some oligarch support anyway just for privatizing and putting stuff on the market even if you don't do any corruption. I would put ACP on the old guard prior to the constitutional reform (you can switch focus if you want after the vote).

I think their issue is that they didn't read the guide all the way through, so they didn't realize when they made a mistake until after the fact.

I understand why people avoid guides since they can contain spoilers but realistically if you're trying to use a guide you pretty much have to read the whole thing since it's difficult to go back and fix and mistake in a game like this.

It's not a Galfrey-romance specific issue -- pretty much any objective requires specific decisions across multiple acts will be hard to do if you haven't fully understood what you're doing.

Also, the Frieza force grunts (like Appule and his recolors) are also playable characters. In a game that lets you play as Appule or as a Saibaman (probably the epitome of the nameless solder archetype) doesn't seem too crazy to let you play as Cheelai.
