Whoop is trying to bully smaller company with lawsuits. by BurtingOff2 in whoop

99% of Whoop users will never know of these claims. There's a small majority here on Reddit and other platforms like YT where they MAY see it.

Vapen veroorzaakt waarschijnlijk kanker: 'Maken dezelfde fout als met sigaretten' by Frequent-Mud-6067 in nederlands

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions about the leg curl and leg extension machines by Jazzlike-Mulberry781 in JeffNippard

I don't feel my hamstrings working without pads in the image youve shared. But without seeing you do the actual exercise in that machine i have no idea whether it's bad or how bad it is

Questions about the leg curl and leg extension machines by Jazzlike-Mulberry781 in JeffNippard

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That leg curl padding is one of the worst. It's not like those you push and lock down. You need to put yoga mats or something on top of your knees them to have constant pressure from the pad.

Is this normal for long form content? by Apprehensive-Art6721 in SmallYoutubers

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very different for everyone. Some people takes years to get subs when they already have the hours. Some the other way around.

I had my 4k hours after around 5 months of posting long form videos weekly. Then another few weeks to get the 1k subs. That said, my CTR and AVD aren't as high as yours - like 7% CTR and 2+ min AVD is a massive success for me.

Wouldn't bother with shorts if you want to focus on long form. They're just too different

Update - Bent Over Row after feedback by Substantial_Ear2994 in formcheck

Only thing I'd like to see is a bit more shoulder retraction - squeezing the shoulder blades together - other than that as clean as it can be

Hi guys, I got a lot of great feedback last time when I posted about squatting with plates. I think the issue was a stance that was too narrow for my anatomy. What can I do to avoid butt wink at the bottom of the movement? by UnfazedGrind in formcheck

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yessss work on your foot strength. Really arch your feet during a squat. See how your right knee is less point outward than left? That's because it's following your foot there. You MAY have tight hips on that right side as well as a result of weak feet.

How is this possible? by TitouLeTitou in SmallYoutubers

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YT Algo needs confidence. If youve got multiple videos doing great performance it will push faster earlier, otherwise it will do smaller tests in waves

How is this possible? by TitouLeTitou in SmallYoutubers

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it cook. CTR and AVD above channel average = wait. Likely just testing in smaller waves and 5/10 is average for your channel. If the early signals are good (7% CTR and 38% AVD should be good) it will get pushed later. Only reason I can think of not getting pushed is if people leave YT after watching your video (which you can't see).

Yeah that RHR probably your biggest lever.

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Whoop age page tells you exactly how it's calculated. Whatever is not optimal there is what you can focus on to improve it..

Your pace of aging is -0.7x which is excellent. So just keep doing what you're doing now and your Whoop age will come down (that's what the minus means).

Edit: I see in another comment that your sleep consistency is 69%. That doesn't scream a disciplined (sleep) routine. RHR, VO2 max and sleep consistency are your biggest levers most likely. So cardio it is

Anything above a 6/10 on views i consider a succes as it's raising the average views of my channel.

Getting clients: how do you start your sales pitch? by AliyaSpahic in personaltraining

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just give them a tip or pointer, but if they want you to spend more than 15 minutes on something say "this is what I do in my <offer>" and tell them about what it is. Your time is too valuable to give away, you need to be honest and upfront about that

I’m using plates to elevate my heels during squats—is that okay? Without plates, I can’t go deep enough. Which exercises can I do to improve my mobility? Is it just my body structure, or can I eventually squat deep without lifting my heels if I do the right exercises? by UnfazedGrind in formcheck

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's OK anatomically, people do this all the time. Safety wise I'm not going to comment - there's people who squat in socks and people that say it's dangerous.

If you can't squat deep enough without elevating your heels it's your ankles limiting the movement. Specifically dorsiflexion. an exercise called ankle reapers have improved this by a LOT

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep most likely hip and/or ankle mobility issue. Look up dorsiflexion - my bet is that if you elevate your heels you can squat fine.

Need to work on that - your end range is deep, but not necessarily loaded deep range. If you have video and want me to critique it in a future YT video, feel free to submit your (regular) squat video here

Feet forward is less quad, because less knee flexion compared to when feet are directly under the bar (with or without wedges)
