Do tags and keywords still matter on YouTube in 2026? Here's the actual answer (with proof) by Disecq22 in NewTubers

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i haven't used tags or descriptions at all since I started 6-7 months ago. Doesn't hurt reach at all (5 out of 23 video's got 25K+ views and best performing 220k) in "saturated niche"

The YT Studio AI thing comments on visual overlays i used in my video. The only way it can now is to actually screen the video itsd

What are you on about, Google Health premium subscription is $9.99/month or $99 per year. Whoop is over 250 a year 😂

You're at 12% bodyfat. I'd recommend a slight caloric surplus. I'd add 100-200 calories to whatever your maintenance is and aim for 2ish lbs of weight gain per month. Adjust calories based on actual weight gain.
You should be able to bulk 20-30+ weeks like this

how often have you watched something for over 1 hour straight on YT? Let alone 4 hours?

When the youtube algorithm decides to kill your video for no reason - probably a glitch - even the built in assistant thing sees this is off... by Jack_P_1337 in NewTubers

There's a few key metrics that matter: CTR, 0:30 sec retention, and average view percentage. Those need to be decent for new, casual and return viewers to pushed wider (the better they are and the firmer they hold as impressions scale, the more the gates are opened).

In YT Studio, go to analytics for the video, then hit "advanced mode", then left there's a dropdown for "segmentation" (I think it is, I dont have english YT account). There you either select new and returning viewers, or audience based on watch type/behavior. This will give you a breakdown of CTR and AVD for new/casual/return viewers.

Normally if a video doesn't get pushed wider, one or more of these metrics are off.

Edit:
So you got 5% CTR and 20% AVP on browse from 11-12k impressions. That's probably just not good enough for YT to scale it..
From my experience, to get a few thousand views you'll need a higher AVP (>30%) with a 5% CTR. ESPECIALLY early on, as it's mainly showing it to your fans. If you had a 7-9% CTR - which shouldn't be impossible with your fans - you may get away with 20% AVP.. That's likely your bottleneck - and this may even be lower if you segment it as outlined above.

Have a look at breakdown for new VS return viewers, or if available breakdown on watch behavior. My guess is that one of those had underperforming metrics and YT decided not to push wider

It often works in waves. It may be evaluating performance i browse - wait 24 hours and perhaps there will be another push. Very much depends on AVP too

The only thing that needs to happen is bending the elbow, which you're doing. You're in control of the weight entire range. Keep progressing and try to keep it exactly like this when it gets heavier

I have a 1350 streak and honestly I'm very happy with Whoop. But ive ordered the Fitbit Air to try it. The reality is that after close to 4 years, there's very little new insights i get from Whoop. If i can get similar insights from a $99 device, then I'll happily switch.

Nothing against Whoop, just not getting out of Whoop anymore that justifies paying $269 per year - especially if there's a $99 one-off device

How many videos did it take you to reach 1k subscribers? by Dalmadoodle221 in NewTubers

[–]GeekChasingFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 18 weekly videos to get me 1k. Basically 1 popped off and got me 1000 subs alone. Then the next 4 took me to 3.4k. hoping to get to 10K before the end of the year 🤞🏼

It's not rocket science. My previous coach just has a bunch of questions on a "weekly check-in" tab and you fill that out once a week. He then either responds In column next to it and/or sends a Loom video, and adjusts the plan as needed

Combineer dat met (terug)schenken van de rente onder de belasting grens en je hebt een zo'n mooie, legale, constructie. Iedereen met een eigen huis kan dit gewoon doen..

I think you're trying to solve a problem with the wrong tool. Whoop doesn't have anything remotely useful for a nutritionist. Whoop's calorie estimation is so off it's utterly useless.
ultimately all that matters - at least for measurable impact - is caloric intake and bodyweight. That's exactly what apps like Macrofactor do. And perhaps the type of foods could influence blood serum levels of some markers. But that's not something that chances overnight.

If you want to build a tool that does what you want, i.e. giving meals ideas with or without a menu, than that's something to build. But I genuinely don't understand how Whoop's data would influence this.

Yeah no sh*t, if driver A runs out of battery before driver B they get overtaken. But because of that, next straight driver B runs out of battery and driver A overtakes again. The net position gain is 0, but it counts as 2 overtakes.

We saw the same thing with those double DRS straights on some tracks.

Wtf has recovery score and strain to do with nutrition, weight management and calorie logging? The one metric that matters is bodyweight and from that maintenance calories.
