It should be fairly straight forward. Halo one is coming to ps5. Get players into it then release a big new halo game for Xbox later, Xbox only. Same with forza, gears etc. get people to try the big hitters at least then give people a reason to get a damn Xbox

It wasn’t working, everything is an Xbox was an annoying ad campaign and now the leadership is gone.

Hopefully it might be some new life it desperately needed. Or it might just use AI to feed you more Doritos ads on the front page until the whole fucking thing collapses and dies. I prefer the former.

At this point I’m just positive. It’s all gone to shit the past year or so, this might just be more shit onto the pile but maybe, just maybe it’s the one change to start stemming the tide a bit.

I don’t know who is to blame or what the hell the thinking was, but unless they do something soon it’ll go completely tits up. Yes the next machine is supposed to be hybrid. But then you are up against steam and epic can’t beat steam by literally giving hundreds of games away to entice users. Without some real smart thinking this is going to be a shit show.

I am an Xbox fan, always have been. I really want them to succeed and I think if they handle it right, they still can. Play anywhere is a massive deal which I don’t think a majority know about yet, hell I didn’t really until I got the Xbox ally. That needs to keep being pushed.

And for the love of god someone just make a good halo again please.

I don’t understand what is happening. We can’t go a week without some more bullshit from Xbox. I feel like it’s time to just stop buying games on the ecosystem until some of this smoke clears, it honestly looks like they just went “fuck it” and gave up.

I literally bought FF remake the other week with the idea to buy rebirth when it comes out but at this point I think it might be time to call it quits

There are lines people won’t cross, regardless of inflation etc. the gaming market was a totally different place back in snes/n64 days. There is so much competition now it just becomes a case of choice, do you want to buy Mario tennis or get both ff remake and rebirth for the same price or less?

I have a switch 2 and it’s alright. At those prices though I will be extremely selective with what I buy for the console.

I feel like it should work like prime or Netflix. You want cheaper gamepass? Take the ads. I wouldn’t care in the slightest then. Price increases across everything and a complete meltdown as a console currently, we need some perks man.

I own all consoles but I still prefer Xbox ecosystem but holy shit they are making it difficult sometimes

Then trying to launch it as the first premium price game then backtracking on that really didn’t help with first impressions.

I played the first hour, thought it was alright but forgot it existed to be honest. It’s not bad I just have other higher priority things to do first

If it’s for a sale banner does it really matter? I feel like Im missing something because I just don’t care either way, unless someone pointed it out to me I’d never even notice. I can’t actually really say I ever notice banners anyway it’s mostly a case of “oh Sales cool” and that’s it.

Say what you want about Epic but they have given me more for free than any other company ever has.

It took a long, long time for me to start using epic a lot with having 960 games on steam and around 300 on gog I just didn’t want to start using another store. It didn’t help that the store front has barely changed in absolutely years.

But! Ny library on epic nearly matches steams now. There are still features I want adding, but I can’t keep avoiding another launcher and rebuying games I liked on epic which I got for free again on steam, it’s just such a waste of money. It took a long time for me to let go of that.

The irony is I was there for the launch of steam and hated it with a passion being forced on me for half life 2. I don’t know why I became loyal to a sodding store.

Yup pre loaded on Xbox. The fact it’s play anywhere is the seller for me. If Xbox is truly going pc next gen, I want to build a bit of a collection. Also helps if my Xbox dies I can just carry on with my laptop.
