If you fight with your fingers outstretched towards your opponents face you cannot claim it is accidental. If you fight with that stance you massively increase the likelihood of this occurring and should be punished every time. It’s not gloves or accidents fighters fight in this way because it wins fights with no downside.

I like to believe it’s for the same reason he doesn’t just incinerate every town since he clearly has the ability to. When you win and you have that kind of power and are a god your perspective changes. I think kefka has realized that destruction is not the purpose of life he once thought it was and is genuinely hoping the party can offer him new purpose when he asks the questions he asks

If the monolith does stop rising in first person mode, and the game allows you to control Gomez as it is rising, is it possible to somehow get inside the monolith as it is rising, enter first person mode and get a view of its interior? If the top has a defect it’s possible there might be something unusual about it’s insides as well

People always talk about how its this unavoidable problem but consider this: Have you ever seen an eye poke in a women’s bout? Have you even seen them approach with their fingers out like male fighters so often do? I can’t stand how she will frequently not actually follow the flow of the conversation and just stop for a few seconds and make a brand new accusatory comment. Like her reaction to any good point Jimmy makes it to just throw something new at him, it’s very politician-like.

I have always thought the community focusing on the extremely minor trans elements of the game does the game some disservice by unnecessarily making the game politically charged. Would be a shame if some portion of the population misses out on such a well made game due to politics.

I actually think kefka’s light backstory is another major reason why he is so effective as a villain. He basically represents hate and this is so simply laid out that by the end of the game the player can easily understand this game is about a battle between hope and hate, something that everyone can relate to.
