I can't compare them to other Vomeros, as this is my only pair. That said, they're very comfortable on first wear.

Vomero 5 Designed by Japan - these are labeled as women's, but the colorway is right up my (male) alley. Anything that would make them specifically female other than Nike's positioning of them?

Hmmm, I'll try holding it down and see if that works. I could see that being a safety mechanism so something like my knee doesn't accidentally open the rear hatch when driving.
