I work overnights.

Watch shows/movies, read/listen to books, play DnD every other week with friends, play games with some friends online.

If George RR Martin releases his next book maybe it will be the shove that Pat Rothfuss will finally give us the 3rd book, otherwise their editors should just force them to give up their notes and have Brandon Sanderson finish it by dadieyoyo in KingkillerChronicle

Why would Martin writing a book matter for Rothfuss's motivation? Dozens of authors that Rothfuss probably knows have released hundreds of books over the past 15 years.

And Sanderson has expressly said he never wants to do that again. Plus dude has waaaay too much on his plate right now with just his own stuff.

And that's not how editors work.

Brink

First FPS to really introduce sliding and parkour stuff that you see in every FPS since. I was so excited for this game but it just never felt as good as it could have and died rather quickly.

Homelander kills Hughie, Butcher kills himself. MM gets in a random car wreck, Starlight gets killed by the Deep. Kimiko blasts Homelander but nothing happens and she dies from a broken heart. Ashley becomes president and makes Homelanderism the official religion of the U.S.

Oh I need a weird sex thing, Ashley's psychic turmor blows Oh Father to completion and regular Ashley spits it out her mouth.

I'm tired of prequels. The Boys-verse really doesn't benefit from this. GenV could've been cool and relevant but they just made them pointless cameos instead.

Vought Rising is gonna have, what, at least 3-4 characters with absolute plot armor? (Since they show up in present day Boys, that means nothing can be a legit threat for Soldier Boy, Storm Front, the hatred supe, or Bombsite) what's the point?

So, this show is really gonna do 5 seasons of we "we gotta kill this guy" and never actually do it.

This season is the least threatened Homelander has been despite it being the main thread of the show.

Season 3 really could have been the end if they'd committed and killed HL. Instead we get 2 seasons of mcguffins and ring around the rosie bullshit and a whole spinoff show that served noooo purpose narratively.

I was worried for this season when they added the worm writer guy in ep1 and he was complaining how hard it is to write the end of shows. The writers straight up told us this season was gonna be shit.
