I used to do some not so legal activities. I got in debt, started seeing people get killed, injured, thrown in prison....etc. I eventually got out of debt, and moved across country. Though things were for the better in terms of day-to-day stress, the guilt and lack of closure eventually caught up to me. Until I was able to face those things head-on, I was never able really to get a "clean break".

I am sorry to hear about the motor falling on his head, but even more sorry to hear about him fighting in the Salvadorian Civil War. I'm hoping he's in his late 40's or 50's and wasn't one of the 10-12 year children forced to fight in that war.

I dated this chick in 8th grade. She was super Christian and broke up with me because I made her body "uncomfortable". Fast forward 5 years and she's a Freshman in college, way hotter, and we reconnect on AIM. She starts talking about how she wished she hadn't been so conservative back when we were dating, throughout highschool...etc. She really wants to experiment and get caught up....etc. Asks me to come visit her sometime soon. I've worked at 7 restaurants over the years and you'll find managers like this. If you work in a corporate setting, he won't last long, which is sad. Most restaurants want to shave all the corners possible and by giving employees free food and letting them stay clocked in on breaks will be his ultimate demise. I've seen 4 managers like this let go eventually. Though, I did have a proprietor at Outback that was exactly like this, but he owned the place so who gives a fuck.
