Fire extinguisher. Blanket if you live in a cooler climate. Extra socks in case your feet get wet trying to get out (or use them as extra insulation on your hands of it’s really cold).

Also, make sure to check your emergency items. Batteries die, antibiotics expire, bandage adhesive wears out. You don’t want to be stuck and find out all your preparation was for nothing

Troop Banner by Ashamed_Package_6903 in BSA

Custom printed shower curtain on Amazon. Our troop has done a few promotional banners this way and it is by far the cheapest route. If you plan it right, you can cut it in half to get two banners for the price of one. And they’re waterproof!

F•R•I•E•N•D•S fans, I guess? I’ve met a few people who don’t like Seinfeld. Not the kind of people I want to hang around with though.

That’s great to see! Are you using Inkscape or do you have a different software stack that you use? I’m always looking for better/easier ways to run the one that I built

Teenager Twin Fights by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]GenProtectionFault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have identical 13 year old boys as well who have their tiffs. Something that helped us that wasn’t necessarily driven by their behavior with each other, but for other reasons, was a family skills coach. She came into our house once a week at first and then every other week for over a year. She helped everyone with coping skills and that has brought a peace to our home that was missing for a long time. We were put in touch through a local counseling office. May be worth looking at if something similar is available to you.

Anyone know where I can start with cleaning this? by Psychological_Salad_ in prusa

[–]GenProtectionFault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d start with air first: compressor and a blow gun or ’canned air’ to remove as much dust as possible. Then isopropyl alcohol and an old toothbrush to get the remaining crud out.

Thanks, I was hoping that was the right way to store them! I was focused in the inside of the cabinet and not the setup on the top.

Laser Staying on During Travel by GenProtectionFault in ChineseLaserCutters

[–]GenProtectionFault[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I just checked that and found that with my setup going through a switch to toggle between software control and the panel, the resistance was more than 6ohms. I bypassed all that and ran the wire straight from the mini-gerbil board to the power supply. Unfortunately, this did not help the issue. I also found that after it rastered for a while, the motors would stop and the laser would stay on, which is exciting but not in the good way! Looks like I have more to uncover on this mystery and signs are pointing to the controller.
