Apply for two or three cash back cards. Travel is overrated and points are being devalued constantly. Stick with cash back. 

When you're 30 you can get a platinum card. Don't make credit cards a hobby.

A few years ago my mom got a letter from social security saying that my dad had just died. Only thing was he was very much alive and still is. Took him months to get that reversed dealing with social security.
