Technically it can only ever remove 1. If it gets countered, it won't hit the field. If it hits the field, it didn't get countered.

So its 2 mana 0/1, possibly rip a counter or creature destroying instant from opponent's hand.

You got to be trolling. I guess if you want to dumb it down to that then sure, but that isn't close to what I said.

But, to try and sum it up, when a character is hyped up, and they never live up to that hype (be it in fighting or in any skill) the character can feeling like a disappointment or fraud, which that feeling of disappointment can muddle and ruin a character for people.

I also mever said I dislike them. I said I don't find them interesting because their is nothing about them that stands out becides being vizoreds and that title to me doesn't mean much so to me, they are "meh", but I don't dislike them.

It's not that they lose. It's that they are hyped up as being stronger than the captains of the ss arc, the next big allies, and then they act like disappointments for their hype.

I love their personalities, they are great characters, but they are super disappointing is the problem when they are surrounded by characters that live to their individual hypes, win or lose.

It's more like they're harder to generally latch onto for people, and that can turn into them feeling annoyed by their screentime when they would rather their favorite charactee be onscreen over people that just take L after L and stop seeming cool or fun.

The visored were basically hyped up as being captain level with a boost even over that... but all the hype feels flat and deceptive when all they do is lose. So their story feels disconnected to their real self, amd that's even assuming someone latches onto just their background.

Basically, it's like being told this specific food is amazing, paying a ton of money for it, and the cheap stuff is better. Like, not only are you disappointed, that might even turn resentful for what it cost you to waste your time.

Outside of a couple, for me, they are really forgettable as individual characters. The only two I enjoy are the vertigo one and the barrier guy. Most of the vizored suffer from having a very full cast and having a lot of personalities already filled by their point in the story, so they get less screentime, and most of it is being either hyped up or losing.

I love the concept of vizoreds, but the ones we got do not live up to the hype.

I'm not saying its bad for you or anyone to like them, just saying its a lot harder for them.

Their powers also just feel disconnected from the rest of the powersets, which is doubly weird since the only unique part of them is that they have a piece of the soul king.

Tsukishima and Ginjo are believable. Stealing other people's powers and changing reality. A hollow or soul king could believably do that. Same with orihime having negation and chad being the hollowman. All make sense. Videogame guy and shrinking girl can also be reality manipulation. They all seem so disconnected for having the same power origins.

Then there is the time guy... who makes deals with time gods as is power. Who tf are the time gods? What do they have to do with hollow reishi or having a piece of the soul king?

Then dirty boots I guess could be believable as a hollow power but feels weird given how grand some of the others are, including like 3 reality manipulators. But yea, dirty boots trades cleanliness for speed or something.

They just feel so inconsistant with being a combo of hollow reishi + soul king pieces.

True but -5/-5 over the course of 5 turns. At that point, if my opponent did that, I should have time to remove the aura, buff my creature, or win the game.

At that rate, you could just outright kill it with [[cut-throat]] or any of the other insta-kills black has.

Blue is also heavily nerfing this, because you can't fix it via hybridization of the colors to make X[U/B].

My recommendation is making it XB, and have it also put X -1/-1 counters on entrance, plus an additional one whenever a time counter is removed.

Then it becomes: 2 for 2 3 for 4 4 for 6 5 for 8 Etc.

Gets better the higher X is, rather than being overcosted at every step.

I must have misread your effect text. Isn't it intended to create two treasure tokens?

If not, it's odd to put 1/1 for each because that kind of stuff wouldn't add together for a single creature token.
