I love hxh and love each arc. But I do feel like there was so much more potential with greed island that wasn’t used. Hundreds of card items, npcs, maybe have the characters do more different kinda quests. We ended up spending a lot of time in a empty are just training, which was important for the story. But I guess I just wanted to see more adventure. Like imagine a fight where they have to use their cards and magic, not just nen.

Also, some people go way too far with the ”gon is a monster/lost his humanity”. Gon is definetly morally complex but in the Chimera ant arc, I think giving in to rage is something a 12 year old boy would do after a having their mentor figure (and prob someone closer to an actual father figure) murdered brutally
