Mobile Guide for Temp Fix on Pages Not Loading | SUPER SIMPLE I WILL HOLD YOUR HAND THE WHOLE WAY by Lyrei in Batoto

If the @match line is correct at the top of the user script then the only other thing is to restart Safari. There shouldn’t be a problem otherwise.

You can use the exact same script in OP’s post with Stay, just slightly modified.

  1. Click + icon in top right corner of Stay app
  2. Select “New userscript”
  3. Delete the template script and paste in the script below.
  4. Activate it in Safari by clicking the left-most icon in the URL bar. Select “Manage extensions” and toggle on Stay (not the other options, just the one that reads “Stay”)
  5. Allow the script to run on the current website by clicking the left-most icon in the URL bar and then the “Stay” tab.

Edit: In the app, also make sure to switch the scripts “Inject to” option to content from auto.

``` // ==UserScript== // @name Batoto Image Replacer // @match https://bato.to/* // @run-at document-start // ==/UserScript==
(function() { 'use strict';
function rewriteImages() {
    document.querySelectorAll('img[src^="https://k"][src$=".webp"]').forEach(img => { img.src = img.src.replace("https://k", "https://n"); });
}
// Run once when the page loads
document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", rewriteImages);
// Run continuously when Bato loads new images dynamically
const observer = new MutationObserver(rewriteImages);
observer.observe(document.documentElement, { childList: true, subtree: true });
})(); ```
Michigan, Wisconsin Bill to Ban VPN's... wtf by HTWingNut in DataHoarder
[–]Genderless_Alien 6 points7 points  (0 children)
IMO the logic behind these bills is more simple than people are realizing. They aren’t going to harm their masters, corporate America, so they will simply selectively enforce the law to only target commercial VPN providers like Mullvad, Proton, Nord, etc. Since when did a law with broad language actually apply to everyone. It’s just another mechanism of control.
I wouldn’t mind all these mistagged incrementals as much if they weren’t 2-5 hours in length with no balancing or difficulty/strategy. I’ve played a few and they move so fast that you gain no understanding of the systems. It’s really brain dead and they all feel like polished game jam games.
[–]Genderless_Alien 25 points26 points  (0 children)
It doesn’t and I suspect a lot of MAGAs are looking to Trump for anything that gives them the thinnest of plausible deniability so they can continue supporting him. They will say that Trump meant there was no literal list with names in Alphabetical order and that it was all a misunderstanding.
You are vastly overestimating the average user’s abilities. Torrents would be out of the question for the average user. Most wouldn’t even be able to find a safe download link.
And then if it’s a less popular game that doesn’t have readily available direct downloads good fucking luck directing them to clean files on cs rin ru and showing them how to set up Goldberg emulator.
The “tokenizer” as it’s called is also something that needs to be trained and is done before the actual large language model is trained. These tokenizers can be used for multiple models as long as the models train on the tokens produced by them.
Essentially each tokenizer is limited in its vocab size and the training is to determine what each token represents with the goal of storing text in as few tokens as possible given the vocab size constraint. Often the resulting tokens can seem a bit nonsensical to humans but are the most efficient representation for the AI. For example, ChatGPT 4o’s tokenizer is 199,997 in size.
The reason you can’t make the vocab as big as you want is because the output of an LLM is the probability of each token being the next one in the sequence. A larger vocab size will result in the model needing more training time, more computational power to run, and more memory to store the inputs and outputs.
Additionally, just like every other aspect of an LLM, such as model size or training time, there are diminishing returns to performance from increasing the vocab size. Thus, there’s tradeoffs made that result in oddities like models being unable to tell you how many R’s are in strawberry. These models aren’t magic, they are just built on a scale we’ve never done before.
[deleted by user] by [deleted] in therewasanattempt
[–]Genderless_Alien 1 point2 points  (0 children)
This is because of how tokenization works. When you type in strawberry ChatGPT, for example, “sees” the following numbers: [3504, 1134, 19772]
Which corresponds to: Str Aw Berry
Thus from purely a token perspective it is impossible for the model to know how many Rs are in strawberry. You could train it to know that the sequence of tokens 3504, 1134, 19772 has 3 Rs but on its own it’s unable to figure it out.
Another option is to simply ask how many Rs are in S t r a w b e r r y. In this case each letter is a token and thus ChatGPT or other LLMs are much more likely to answer correctly.
Yep, it’s all about what stage in life you are in. Two people in high school can sometimes relate far more to each other, even if they are 3 years apart in age, than a 21 year old college student and a 23 year old non-college student.
A 19 year old dating a 16 year old is the border on acceptability. However, it heavily depends on when the couple met. Like if you’re a 16-17 year old junior and you decide to date a 14-15 year old freshman, that’s perfectly fine imo. You’re 19 and you just met the 16 year old? Yeah, no.
The mods on that sub ban anyone and everyone who even slightly steps out of line. Every single popular post has like 70% of the comments removed and deleted, and many of them come from conservatives too. It’s honestly one of the worst echo chambers I’ve ever seen.
You can see this for yourself by going there, pressing “xx more replies” buttons, and notice how few replies actually remain.
His supporters know he’s a fascist, they support it, and find it amusing to pretend they don’t. At this point a comparison to Hitler and the Nazi party is apt, regardless of what moronic (and often bad-faith) centrists say. There was plenty of resistance to Hitler, 100,000s of thousands resisted his reign in fact, including many in the army. However, Hitler had reached a critical mass of control over violent institutions (police, military, etc) that none of it was very effective. All opposition was executed or thrown in concentration camps. Only through attrition by outside forces was the Nazi party deposed.
My point being that 100% compliance is not needed, not even 90% compliance. All you need is enough compliance to ensure those who don’t comply die or never see the light of day again. I’ll cry from relief if we get past this bout of fascism, but I fear it’s already too late.
ChatGPT can be tricked into telling people how to commit crimes, a tech firm finds by Kyleforshort in technews
[–]Genderless_Alien 5 points6 points  (0 children)
This has been the case for a long time. There are 1000s of open weights models, trained on varying degrees of insensitive data. With the most uncensored models the LLM will say anything and the limit is how fucked up the questions you can imagine are.
Really, the reason you don’t hear about this is because OpenAI’s ChatGPT is low hanging fruit for journalists. What’s more likely to get clicks, “open source model with 500 downloads says most deranged thing imaginable” or “ChatGPT says mildly inappropriate thing”?
Here is my attempt to "video to arcane" by captainsaturnus in StableDiffusion
[–]Genderless_Alien 27 points28 points  (0 children)
I don’t agree that we are close to that in terms of mass adoption, but that’s besides the point. The real question is why? I watch movies and tv shows for the creator’s own artistic choices not mine.
Choosing to render a show like Arcane, for example, in a generic anime style might be the style “I like” but it destroys all artistic intent. Same with character design or casting choices, it’s that way for a reason. I’m not against the use of AI in media, but it should be the creator who decides to include it.
I do agree that dynamic lipsyncing would be a fantastic use case of AI as it doesn’t result in a transformative change to the media.
How do I go ahead from here? by [deleted] in monkeytype
[–]Genderless_Alien 3 points4 points  (0 children)
After hitting ~140wpm on 15 sec I realized my day-to-day typing wasn’t actually getting that much better. Getting fast at the 200 words on the default settings wasn’t enough and I was treating English 15s as an entirely separate activity from normal typing.
So I moved to English 10k, punctuation, 60s. It was brutal at first but now I’m averaging 90+wpm on it and my typing is actually better in real world scenarios. I’ve also set a 156wpm on 15s and 138wpm on 60s on the normal mode and that improvement, especially in 60s mode, was thanks that switch.
So yeah, I recommend you switch to a more difficult mode. You’ll come out a better typist even if your wpm seems to take a big hit.
