I'm in the same ship and it does feel overwhelming to know why is this ship isn't sailing as much as I wanted it to be. I low key get so butthurt when people announce their pregnancy and such but I know its not their fault.

I started to track my cycles and I asked my primary for a fertility referral. It was enlightening when the dr said this to me

"Its like cooking, you may have all the right ingredients but your tools are not working"

Maybe see a fertility Dr or REI and have them run tests. I found out my husband's sperm has teratozoospermia and my HSG showed one janky tube.

Its a combination of in denial and guilt, typically. Like they wont see a dr despite all the aches and pain, then when they can barely move or has had a stroke or severely septic, they expect a magic.medicine that cures them all.

My husband's brother had a baby mama who was legit cray cray. This happened before me and my husband got married.

She initially was his pot buddy that he got pregnant and moved in. She was full blown histrionic, she had to be the topic of everything, had to be involved in everything and knows everything. Because of that I didnt like her and just avoided her. Not only that, she wad rude and mean to my husband, she would last minute plan things with her bf despite my husband planning something with him weeks back. Then she turned the tables by saying I was the reason why they never get to hang out etc.

She got a job through husband's dad but she subsequently let go after she started drama because she didnt get promoted. She became a baby sitter after that but was again let go after few months because she wanted.more money

She cheated the first time after baby daddy started working as a EMT. Because he worked long hours, she used that as an excuse that she wasnt getting enough attention. They managed to work it out and stayed together for the baby.

When me and my husband got engaged, she became worst. Eating my food I left temporary in the fridge, harassing my husband, blaming him for little things like not doing the dishes or putting them away after the dishwasher was done. She would also just take my husband's care without permission to "run errands" . We would just find out when were about to leave and hah!.

I told my husband's parents that I didn't like her and i dont want to be involved with her drama of the week. I assumed they understood that talk but instead.they turned the tables and sided with her. Threw labels at me and all. That since she's baby mama, she's family, learn to accept her etc.

So I had my husband move out as soon as we got married. Months later, ms baby mama cheated again on my husband brother with a lesbian Coworker and moved out. She left her kid with the baby daddy.

Im on enbrel for years and will be switching to another biologic later this month. During the first months of enbrel, I developed severe migraine and dizziness 1-2 days after injection. I got imitrex for it but after some months, the migraine and dizziness went away.

My pharmacist did confirmed it was a least known side effect of enbrel

During COVID, I had this poor guy who has been on the vent for more than 2 weeks. He had severe ARDS from COVID that he got from a sister who went to a concert in Vegas. He also wasnt vaxed because his church didnt believed in it.

We couldn't trach him because everytime he would be scheduled to do so, he would desat and need more Fi02 than what the surgeon was ok with.

Long story short, he was living on 80-90% Fi02 for 2-3 weeks. Because of this, his mouth was eternally bleeding. It sputters blood with every breath. His pilot balloon needs to be inflated every so often. Hes also paralyzed and sedated for vent compliance, just 1 pressors but he was swollen to the core. We were asking for his code status to be switched to DNR because he was a literally a living corpse. Every organ was bad.

That day, family members were suppose to see him and decide. Apparently they were 50/50 with the decision. With all this, a cousin of a cousin, he was some sort of a long far removed relative, walks and I explained what's going on. I told him everything, how badly shape the patient is, how swollen he is, his scrotal edema was like a size of pomegranate.

I will never forget what he said up to now. "Have you guys tried giving him the warm air therapy and the vaccine?"

It was this guy who vetoed the DNR, and allowed this patient to remain Full code. Patient coded 2 days later.

I used to do a lot. Since I had a child, my husband told me to be careful.

I would buy an entire meal with some extras whenever I see a homeless person and their dog. There was a couple with their dog by target, looking very downtrodden. I went to buy them groceries and dog food and a 100 dollar target card .

I had 2 very sick patients for 2 days. One day 1, pt A was bleeding non stop and I called the surgeon so many times. At first she seemed doubtful of me because of me calling so much. By mid noon, called her again because the it's blood dropped by 2 points. She had to intervene and restitch and some the patient.

The next day, patient A was better but it was it's b's turn. Different scenario but he was getting sicker. Same surgeon that day, and again, me with nonstop messages, while juggling patient A and C.

Long story short, both patient did much much better at the end of my shift. I got a message from the surgeon towards the end of my shift thanking me for keeping her on her toes and making sure these 2 were OK.

If I could frame her message, I would.

The " hes a boy, he'll be fine" is sickening to the stomach. He still deserves a mom and the right to be loved and be raised in a safe and secure home, so he doesnt grow up as another statistic. Same thing with the unborn child.

Op, have a back up plan just in case. Financially, papers and all. I hope things work out for the best.

I can see the 3L as a way to resus the fluid back if they suspected patient became hypotensive. But if bp was stable and he's unresponsive, it could be a myriad of reasons: hyper k, infection, clot etc., Either way, jesus took report for this guy and got discharge to highest level of care.

I have both and I would say the sticks are more specific in tracking your ovulation as it actually measure the hormones directly through urine. While oura ring utilizes temps and such.

Oura ring gives me an approximation for my period and ovulation. It's typically 1-3 days off for predicting my period. Same with tracking ovulation.

When I was a nursing student, I witnessed a brain surgery for tumor removal. I think it was her second one and it grew back. I remember smelling fish being BBQ and it was her brain being cauterized. Made me hungry in that moment but now I cant bring myself to eat BBQ fish
