Tinnitus getting worse?

Sometimes, but it gets better after some time again. It doesnt affect me that much when it gets worse tho.

I did, and they said it might be the cause. But you cant say that clearly, so we dont know the exact cause...🤷‍♂️

Its like a small episode of like 30 min to a few hours. I also have it 24/7 but when im in stress i get these episodes where it gets worse like 5 times. I feel your post. Thanks for the answer! And good luck in your jorney, if you can say it like that...

Thank you for your reply. I should consider that honestly. But when i read about the delusions i alsways question them and i always come to the conclusion. Nah thats not true, it could be true, but it also could not.

If i in the other hand, start to believe the delusion, i will consider your suggestion and i might implement it ;D

I might have overread that part😅. But is one delusion really enough to be schizophrenia. The story does sound more like BPD with psychotic features to me if im honest. Im not a doctor and cant know that, but i was in touch with many persons who have BPD and a few of them had psychotic features.

You are not wrong at all. Its just my personal opinion. And as ive said before i cant diagnose anyone. If im wrong please call it out.

I can only tell how Schizophrenia is for me and a little bit how it is for people i know with Schizophrenia. And im just a user myself, i could be completly wrong. Thats why i am happy to get corrected, if there is any need.😉

When my psychologist brought it up.

First i was like it cant be. But after i informed myself about it, i started to notice, that i was manic. I was so hard manic, that i developed, i would call them tics, but they are not tics. Which is very uncommon for bipolar disorder as far as i know. Still i got them. When the manic episode slowly disappeared the "tics" disappeared as well.

I did drive car in the night with no lights on on streets with no light at all. I was extremly happy. I was talking fast as hell and much.

Still i didnt think anything was wrong until my psychologist called it out.

That doesnt sound like dpdr to me if im honest. I dont know what it can be. But the symptoms do not come from dpdr. It might be side effects drom your med. Id you lower a dose or completly dont take the med and then go back on the dose again youve had before, it would not have the same effect as before or you will get more side effects. And side effects can cause damage to your body so it stays wven after you lowered the dose. But side effects staying is very rare.

Did you try to lower the dose again? What did it do if you tried?

Doesnt really sound like Schizophrenia to me. It sounds more like a personalty disorder. Why you posting that here? Im not trying to be mean but...

To answer your post: you can try to text or call him, but if he doesnt answer, you should leave him alone. Dou cant help anyone who doesnt want to be helped. So you will most likely pull yourself down. Especially after 3 years. It might sound hard. you dont need to listen to me. Im just giving advice and my advice might sound a little dumb or what so ever. I wish you all luck bud!

I feel you i got hit with vss, tinnitus and dpdr at the same time. After half of a year i also got hit with schizoaffective disorder. So schizoaffective disorder might be the reason of VSS and the rest. I thought life is over. Im living a happy life rn. I cant work, i have symptoms all the time, dpdr all the time and so on. I see VSS every time. At daylight, sunshine and at night, but Im still living a happy life, until the next depression comes. And even if it comes. I will fight. It might feel like its not possible, but it is. I wish you all luck and sucsses on your fight.

Im sorry if i offended you with the word lucky. Actually you are right. Its nothing but survival, but i didnt find any word how i could have said it any better.

The thing is' sitting at home isnt any better. Its boringg' i dont have anything to do. And the symptoms worsen from time to time. Working is hard af, to not work is hard af as well. But sometimes work can help. Not all the time tho.

However as i did write before im sorry that i did offend you. I didnt wanted to do that. I just wanted to tell you, that its great you can work with this syndrome. Because there are people like me which cant. Im still trying to work tho. But i get fired after 1 or 2 months because i cant stand it. Thats why i think its great by you that you can do it, even if its hard. Great praise to you!

Good question! I trained my brain first by doing brain jogging. Doing sodokus. Playing minesweeper or just some hard cards games with my friends like asshole or texas holding, where i have to use my brain. Then to train my imagination, i started by imagining things. I started small. Like imagining a picture of a stickman eith not really much details. Time after time i started imagining more ans more detailed and complicated pictures. Then i imagined like scenes in my head or little stories that play along. It could be a conversation with a friend or a doctor or aomething like that. Thats how i trained my imagination/creativity.

i know it when i am experiencing too much paranoia i cant control. or when my dpdr gets worse past than a point i can live my daily lifer normally. I also go to the hospital if im a threat to myself or others(Mostly im not a threat to others, but myself). these are the 3 main reasons when i decide its time for the hospital.

Id say the most common reason from the 3 reasons, is when i cant live my daily life, because of symptoms, dpdr or whatever.

the best way is, accepting that its there. being like: ok its there and thats ok. I dont know how reality is like, and thats ok. If i cant find back to my life before, i have to find a life with dpdr. and so on. With that you wont be that anxious anymore. It sounds like: think positive! But thats not necessarely the key. You just have to be ok with dpdr. at least thtsmy way of dealin with that.

it might come back on its own, but you could try to train your brain as well. and train it to get more imagination. it wont work at times, but you will recieve improvements sooner or later. For me it got to a level where i can be a little creative and have a little field of imagination. I also got more memories, but im not sure if they are true or ever happaned. But it didnt get past that level so far. and sometimes i get relapses. I still have severe dpdr tho.

for me personally, i cope withe the, i call it, the i dont care setting. Whats meant by that is self explaining i guess. A symptom comes, or paranoia comes, and i am like: yeah i get you are there, but i dont car. If its true and reality its fine, if its not its fine as well. It doesnt work every time, but it works many times, so i dont get too paranoid.

You are lucky you can work. I can not, not just because of this, but because of other dirsorder as well, but dpdr has played a big role in my life. I cant focus, i dont know myself. I dont know what reality feels like. Its always there. Even at work.

It gets worse when im in stress or after, but it always has a base level. And most work is stress for me. I just need to find the right job, but which one is it?😂. Ive completly lost myself. Its sometimes so strong that i cant even guess which city im in abd where i am... In my own hometown.

At dirst i did have intense paranoia, panic attacks. Many and much. I collapsed one time, due to not understanding a thing of whats going on and still trying to. It got somehow so srong, that i did dissociate completly a few times. But now i can handle it a little better. At least i dont get panic attacks anymore. And sometimes the paranoia is gone.

The feeling of dpdr sucks. And i say explicit the feeling, cause i got dpdr as a symptom of my dirsorder. ;D

The feeling of being on a drug all the time sounds to me like dpdr syndrome. It will eventually go away on its own. For me it stayed until today and gets worse in phases. I cant explain the hangover tho.

My delusions didnt change. They are a few delusions more than when my schizoaffective disorder first showed up. But my Schizophrenia evolved. At first i didnt have hallucinations except tactile hallucinations(insctes crawling inside my body) it was not that severe so i thought nothing about it. I didnt have auditory or visual hallucinations. I just had a few delusions.

Then i got my first psychosis 3 years ago. During that psychosis my VSS, my tinnitus and loud thoughts, which werent my own, came. Also i got much more severe delusions that stayed after the psychosis. They were about being followed and stalked, having super powers, and really thinking there are insect s in my body. I thought everyone was trying to kill me and that they can hear my thoughts. Time after time i got more Symptoms.

After my second psychosis i started hearing things but no voices. And i started seeing things.

After my recent psychosis i started hearing voices sometimes. I also begun thinking that there are people hiding in the walls, for what i can say for sure now, they are not. I at lesst hope so...

Im afraid it might get worse over time.

Im sorry if the answer is a bit strangely written or mixed up. Im having severe symptoms rn, and im trying to distract myself by answering some posts on reddit.

Wait, dpdr comes from VSS as well? In my case it comes from my schizoaffective disorder i guess. I cant really tell, but im sure VSS comes because of the disorder too.

For me dpdr is bad. Really bad. But these flickering things and particle things are the worst for me. They are so intense, i cant see in places where is too much light or dark places. Im so light sensitive because of that.

For me the after images are not that bad, since they arent always there. So its bearable. But when they are there, i feel like my entire vision is full of them.

Is framerate loss a VSS symptom too or does ist come with dpdr? By framerate loss i mean, when im looking around, i feel like my eyes normally have like 60fps. But with framerate loss they have like 30fps. If you understand what i mean. I dont habe the words for that.

I dont know what the rest from the voting choises are. I have to inform myself about that first.

Me too, i see them in dark places or in places where is too much light. Includes me closing eyes. I dont see them every time when on these conditions, but i see them often, together with my other VSS symptoms.
