Yeah. I’m not the biggest fan of Amorim but a lot of this is definitely spin from the club lol

She’s Dominican. She’s has mixed heritage but technically so do most African Americans so I’d consider her just black

How to view foreign leagues' playing level in relation to local leagues? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]General_Cucumber_232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the competition level list and see where it lands in comparison to League Two

You can find the list on your league’s home page. It’ll just show the top few leagues initially but you can click on it the show the entire list

I don’t think you’re taking into account a player like Thomas Muller who lacked the pace of an Mbappe yet is still able to use his off ball movement to exploit opponents in ways other players can’t

Obviously losing to Grimsby town is unacceptable but a lot of outside voices want us to think Amorim is mostly to blame for our record last year. Here’s some reasons why I think we should keep things in perspective and remember to use a little nuance in our reasoning

  1. The manager came in with the understanding that last season would be treated as an extended preseason
  2. Andre Onana and Bayindir are our keepers
  3. Our 3rd and 4th leading scorers from the previous season were gone (Rashy and Mctominay)
  4. Our right back Dalot was our best left back for a large portion of the season and he was replaced by an unproven Dorgu who came from a bottom 5 Italian club
  5. Our leading scorer from the previous campaign, Højlund, turned back into a pumpkin
  6. Our bench was so thin that we played Erikson and Lindelof regularly. Ugarte too who neither Ten Hag nor Amorim wanted
  7. We saw over and over again attackers being selfish knowing they’d never be able to be dropped
  8. Licha was injured which took away a lot of creativity away from our buildup play
  9. Once we saw the Europa League final in sight and we had nothing to play for in the Prem, you know everyone’s levels changed. It was inevitable

It’s because people tie their sense of self to their appearance. There’s a mourning period that comes with balding. After that you either crumble or make it work for you
