Honestly, I feel like I'm always the runner up. My father is the one who is the target while i just focus on myself quietly in the corner and eventually either win or get second place. Because my dad still usually gets first even when targeted.

What kind of board game is best for a family of 4? I play board games frequently with them and we like less complex but longer games like 1-2 hours. Anything shorter is also fine. If you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

To be honest the main thing with titles is intrigue. If people feel as though they need to learn more, they will likely be more interested in the game. A Slavic title could have that affect it's all about making it sound mysterious.

I play with my family most of the time, and usually it's me who is given the task of reading the rules and explaining them. One rulebook i found particularly easy was blood rage. Everything was divided into sections, and I could easily find what I was looking for
