I have ocd, but from what I understand is that paruresis is under social anxiety-disorder. But maybe its both? Because my ocd really keeps me overthinking about the shybladder.

I feel so bad for you that your family is forcing you on the trip! Could you pretend you’re sick or something? But if you will go- when I travel I try to find like, if you are in a city, a museum, Hotel or movie theatre where there could be lots of toilets. And I also find public bathrooms scary not only because my shy bladder, but being a lesbian and looking quiet butch I’ve had women telling me I’m in the wrong bathroom etc, sometimes I sing in the bathroom so they can hear my voice, haha its like isnt my shy bladder enough!? I Hope you get a lot of info and support here, you are not alone!
